Well I had a pants night sleep, DS1 was up 3 times and DS2 is in a really groucy mood. I have dressed him twice this morning, only for him to remove them.

Also the playhouse people delivered the wrong side again

Hi all. DH on holiday for the next couple of weeks so not sure how often I'll be on - need to pretend I actually do some parenting when he's working rather than just being on MN all day
Right, need to leap into action this morning. Been v lazy and disorganised so far, morning routine not even done! Also need to wash kitchen floor which is covered in doggy paw prints and get the bedding all washed. Right, off to achieve something!

Right, will get stuff done today, was childless yesterday and thought I'd get loads done like last time in-laws took ds3 but realied how much slower and more tired I am now. Did get some stuff done but went to bed for half an hour after lunch as was shattered.

Ellie is still snotty & a bit clingy although appears to be in a better moody than yesterday. Which wasn't helped by the fact that the men that came yesterday(should have been here a week ago) took over 4 hours to fit the shower screen, bath panel & new door. He still has to come back to reseal bath panel, fit door handle & lock as he broke the new door handle whilst trying to fit it yesterday

Clothes packed, just have to pack toiletries. Washing basket emptied, washed now on line & highdryer. Will iron once dried

Still need to do quick general tidy throughout, hoover & mop floors. I've had lunch, off to prepare ellie's.

Didn't get a chance at all to get on the comp yesterday.
Only just had a spare moment now!
Had doctors this morning (I am going to be sterilised....lots of thought gone into it and it is what I'd like to do) then toddler group.
Have also been to open a different bank account to manage my Avon stuff...and other bits and bobs...the branch is in the next village along, which is waaaay more convenient than town! So I can hopefully get cheques paid into there quickly and that money won't get mixed up with housey/general bills type money.

House is suffering again ATM as I seem to be having a busy week so far!

That in mind, I'd better get on

Phew everyone is very busy.

We're away for the weekend tomorrow too so need to go to Lidl after work to get nappies and larger (just the essentials LOL).

Had to do emergency ironing last night, Ed had NO clean uniform Well he does now.

I've had a really good morning. Ed went to school with no fuss, I voted and went to the next town and spent too much in the charity shops I got

Pair of summer trousers
Brand new tunic top
Ben sherman shirt for Ed (for next year)
A parka for Ed for the future
Junior Boggle
One of those wire and loop games for Ed's fine motor skills

I also got 2 chickens (not free range but more ethically treated before the get offed)

Plus I did all this WITHOUT USING MY STICK! I had one folded up in my bag but I never used it. I also travelled by bus rather than copping out and grabbing a cab.

Ruby Thanks. Leaflet dropping is a good idea. I am intending to get cards printed for him, so might do them. we'll have to plan where to drop (ie not too local as 50% male population round here is also in the building trade!)

One of my friends who moved recently wants him to hang doors and move some radiators for her next week,so that will keep him going for a day or two.

hi all, not read thread properly hope all poorly dc are feeling better- and tired mummies got some rest!

we've had a busy day at soft play. dd was in a gorgeous mood so lots of giggling nd fun.

and rescued a few upset/lost children. all except one said thanks. one was really rude as she said, excuse me she's with me. i was very calm and said oh thats good cos she was very upset she couldnt see you and asked me for help so i was taking her round where tables were as she couldnt remember where you were sat.
was just trying to help, i can understnad being worried if you saw someone walking with your child but dont jump at them before you know. i was just tryig to help . i've never been able to ignore an uspet child, would hate it if people just ignored mine in that situation. those places are big and scary!! LOL
have managed to wash up, tidy, sweep, wash floor, unload and reload washer. off to collect ds now he wants to get his hair cut after school today

jelly - dd1s isn't too bad. It is tiny so not alot of room for mess, but dd2 and ds' is scary. I'm considering putting ds in the bottom bunk soon (he is still in his cot) but fear itwill be worse if he has any access at all when I put him to bed

Dylsmm - She was probably being defensive bacause she knows she should have been paying more attention herself.

I have had a quick read through today`s thread, though my brain is not working so forgot most of what has been said.

Bianca I hope DD is feeling better soon.
anyone going away for the weekend bit I hope you all have a great weekend away. Lets hope the weather is good and the sun comes out to play.

Lots of Flying today, I wont be though as I`m still suffering and finding it very hard to move today.

DD is much better and is playing with her toys and making a mess. But is t is great to see her playing again after 2 days of not really wanting to move and go and play.

Grouchy Well done for not having to use your stick today. I getting some Pink crutches (elbow) to use instead of the NHS ones I have now. They are like the NHS ones but all the plastic parts are pink I might get some all black ones as well one day soon. @ £48 a pair they are not cheap though.

It was lovely and sunny here when I started this post. Now it has gone really dark and I have had to put the lights on to see what I doing.
