Mission

Dentist went OK, I felt dreadful and cried again She's done a temporary repair and I have to go back for a 40minute appt next month

Ds and I have been to the shops and bought party bags then come home, had some lunch (him) and then he's helped me mow the front and back garden

He's calling, must dash, bbl x

Well I have now forgotten what I was going to say!

Bianca poor you I am glad the tooth is fixed though. I hope you and your DS start to feel better soon, there is nothing worse xx
I have just come back from town, found a little something for your DD

FLY lady is a bit bonkers I think (mind you I think you have to be a wincy bit weird to love a shiny sink.....no offense meant ladies )

Next Door!!!!!

We have to keep it a bit hush hush as my landlord will not be particularly happy....and his sister is directly opposite us and keeps an eye on our commings and goings!

Their house is currently up for sale, but it isn't selling, so they are taking it back off the market at the end of May.
They have agreed to let us rent it, with the view to buying it in the future!!! I'm soooo excited/worried/elated/ahhhhhhhh!!

It is exactly the same as the house we are in now, only the lay out is back to front IYKWIM. It has a lot of things ours doesn't have such as a shower....seperate coal shed...brand new bathroom suit....brand new laminate floors....bathroom and kitchen are NOT CARPETED Oh how I would love that!!!!!
Bedrooms and stairs and landing all brand new carpets.
Basically they have completely re-furbished.

Only negatives are...slightly more rent....no double glazing and no room for my dishwasher
But...I am sure I will cope!

I can't wait! Although I am a bit anxious...I hate moving house!

Will be a good chance to do some decluttering though!

I've let ds go on the computer upstairs for a bit, he's running out of energy fast.

We have a weird new delivery driver from dh's wholesalers..I don't like him, he gives me the creeps.

Nothing else to report

Must make progress tomorrow, hopefully ds will be fit and well enough for school and I can get my act together ready for dds party.

We've had two friends decline invites to dds party, is it too short notice to ask a couple of others in their place (party this weekend)?

Hello ALL and welcome Newbies (stick around, it's smashing here)

I've broken down . My legs are protesting and as I'm unstable indoors, I thought 'better sit down'. My fault I suppose, I overslept and I didn't really take a break from 7.15 to 3.45 DH has said he'll do a family tea and make tomorrows lunchboxes when he gets home. I just hope the handful of meds I've swallowed will shore me up in time to be effective.

Ed and next door's DS are playing on the Wii so I'm leaving them to it.

Ally I have an old Hygena kitchen. The sink is a cream colour, couldn't be shined in a million years. It doesn't have a plug for one thing I just keep it as clean as I can and have a washing up bowl. Welcome to FLY BTW

TMH You know when you've grown up/mellowed down with music when you start thinking 'I need a Tom Waits album' Must admit while having a pint before The Joneses on Sunday I felt my old 'I'm at a gig' emotions coming back, which was nice (BTW spent the prime of my life in The Duchess of York, Leeds (RIP))

I trudged all the way to the optician for dd1 after the third school run of the day to find her appointment was yesterday I really could have done without it tbh. I just want to sleep.

I have a dentist appointment tomorrow, which I'm really not looking forward to. I can cope with the dentist, but this is the hygienist. My gums are a disaster area, and I know it will hurt.

saga It will be dead easy won't it...just pass the furniture over the wall LOLOLOL!

Bianca Thank you I would love to come I love Magic Acts! (DD definately would!) but sadly can't make it this time. DH is away Saturday.

We have had a glorious day today!! Really hot and sunny! We have just got back from the river...kids all had a paddle. DH is cooking supper and the kids are now in the garden.

jas Things like that happen to me too. I have the dentist at the start of next month but I'm not looking forwards to it. My gums were a total hell hole ante and post natal. I got a brush that simulates flossing and they picked up no end. Best of luck with it.

The meds are kicking in. I've made the lads lunches for tomorrow but I'm still resting, honest

Luda Congratulations. I have laminate all downstairs and it is cool. I sweep or hoover and then I damp mop once or twice a week all round and stop mop as and when with mr Sheen laminet orange, but TBH any floor cleaner is fine as long as not over wet.

Bianca well done on the dentists - done tell anyone but I have an appointment on Thursday at 5.30. I have left it this long with toothache, as I really am a wimp.

Jas That could have been me before I got my organised mum calender - I am a total convert - I think it is the special stickers for the opticians, doctors etc

TTT You are a star - bright yellow ballet pumps £9 - you are so cool. I am wearing jade green suede ones. I find bright coloured shoes detract from my lardy frame

OK I have been p[laying the new CD on the laptop all day and I can recomend The Last Shadow Puppets album - it is really easy to listen to and you find yourself humming along and anyway who could resist a good Northern accent

We are thinking of taking the kids to Leeds festival when they are a bit bigger, we used to go to Reading, V and we also went to Phoenix when it existed. I took DH to see The Wonder Stuffs last ever gig(They did dizzy with Vic Reeves). We have seen some strange sights I tell you. Pop will eat itself, the fall, coutney love snogging Even Dando. The Manics before they got all politically correct. I have particulatly enjoyed the Foo fighters, Muse, Placebo,Black Rebal Motercycle club Blur, Beck (suberb live), squeeze, faithless and weezer. DH - Oasis, Ocean Colour Sceene, Weller, inspiral carpets, beautiful south.

We have seen loads of people and enjot most although I thought Oasis were disappointing as were Radiohead

DD2 had a good morning at pre-school and it looks like they do have space for her to go all day Tuesdays.
I didn't get much done this morning because i decided to pop back to town after dropping DD2 off so i could get bread etc. Local co-op is shutting for 2 and a half weeks from today. It will cost me more to buy food from the other local shops and no one else does the bread i like so will have to try a different loaf!

My back is ok until i walk up steps or up hill!

I am going to do a stall at a car boot in our town in a few weeks. Hope to make a few pennies! Neighbour/friend/car boot organiser has offered the use of her trailer on the day so that we can do the stall. DS's have been pricing up toys!

For some reason a have a sore armpit today! It stings!

hello everyone been luvly here today even had the roof down on the car coming back from asda and my washing is all dry dunno what has ahppened to my washerballs tho as they don't seem to be working properly i have
done
cleaned bathroom
tidied up upstairs
got up fed dressed
tidied up downstairs
steamed kitchen and floor
put everything away
tidied hall up
vacuemed downstairs
put baby in garden and he slept all afternoon whispers naughty mummy
the nice weather has made me feel really good might go and clean his swing and have 10 mins out in the garden in a min
bit sad as today i noticed my cockatiel has got a big lump underneath him looks like cancer [my other bird had it] got vets tomorrow but think i already know what will happen so not looking forward to tomorrow and i have got phisio tomorrow

Babyjj Hope vets goes ok tomorrow. You have been busy today. Warm weather if great isn't it.

yep it is great got his swing in out of the garden and wiped it over just been swining him in it whilst i was watching emmerdale it's differant to a rocking swing a garden swing ain't they sumhow
i'm really scared that the vet is going to say have him put down cos he can't tell you if he is in pain and he is getting old now aswell duno what to do really but don't want him to be in pain but then u can't be sure he is in pain can u lol

The sunny afternoon has been lovely We need a day like today on Sunday please for our party - I am dependant on the whole event happening in the garden!

I took ds to the park for an hour before collecting dd from her gym club. We then all went back to the park for another long play, it was great, loads of kids there to play with (and mums to chat to ) Roll on more sunny days

I have just had a blitz in my bedroom and have made good progress. All the washing is put away, the bed has clean line dried washing (smells great!), most of the clothes/books/toys are picked up and returned to their correct places

Feel abit more optomistic about making good progress tomorrow now.

Off to watch Eastenders now, might be back later x

Well done Bianca I think weekend is meant to be ok. Will keep my fingers crossed. Will be getting your DD(and you! Yes yours is on my calender too) something on Thursday while in Taunton. They have a certain shop there!
I have washed up the dinner bits again tonight! And put a load of washing on incase tomorrow turns out nice!
