Hello whispywhisp

RR - how many after school things do your DDs do?

Just did a 5 min clean up of the living room and plan to do the hallway before Neighbours comes on

DontDreamItBeIt · 18/04/2008 16:35

I have a 33" inside leg Not as long as Shanna but enough at only 5'8".
I also have very long arms, and really struggle to get things with sleeves that fit. At least trousers come in more than one length.

I've forgotten what else I've read.....welcome FLYbaby.

Got to go, ds is trying to get in the bath and I haven't put any water in yet.

I may be back tonight after I've finished birthday cake decorating.....

sagacious · 18/04/2008 16:44

Hello

Whispy your DH sounds a lot like my dad....he is a hoarder (well as much as he can hoard anyway as they live on a narrow boat....but it is crammed to the gunnels with "stuff" !
I would love a night out with my DH too...a cosy corner in our local pub sounds heavenly! One day we'll manage it I am sure

Just gone to look upstairs...kids have had friends over to play.....CHEWING GUM EVERYWHERE!!!!!
In the carpet...on the shelves.... They have just been made to tidy it up and hand over any more they may have!!!!
They don't normally get to have it, and I had hoped my prewarnings had been listened too but evidently not....my friends DS had it in his hair!!!!
That's the one and only time they'll do that again!!!!!

tortoise · 18/04/2008 17:35

Hello.
We did manage to get to swimming today! DD1 was sick once at 11pm (ish) but slept all night and woke up happy and full of beans.
She has been fine all day so no idea what was wrong with her!

Also managed to get DD1 some cheap school shoes. Only £9.99. Couldn't afford more than that. And we did a small shop in Icelands. Being delivered tomorrow.

Luda Parcel arrived thanks. DS2 very pleased as all his size! Especially love the camoflage trousers! He loves anything in camo! Has only just given up some of his Actionman toys.

Thinking about booking tickets to take DD1 to see this for an extra birthday gift.
Works out to be £41 though. Not sure i want to pay that much.

BiancaCastafiore · 18/04/2008 17:56

Hello

Kids are in the bath.

I'm tired

We have done nothing much all day!

EHM Huge congrats to your bro! Cousins for Ellie - exciting! and - we'd like some cousins.

My bro is on MSN trying to talk me into getting dd an MP3 player for her birthday - I'm such a techno dunce though, I have no idea if that's a good idea or not

tort - looks fun but i would say too expensive at the moment for you (if you dont mind me saying).

rr - can you say 1 thing per week for each DC?

BiancaCastafiore · 18/04/2008 17:58

Tort one of dds friends took her to an Angelina show last autumn - they loved it

The show was really short - an hour tops. £41 sounds a lot for that...

Yes it says it is 1hr 15 with an interval. I hate being so skint all the time. Really need to put some clothes etc on Ebay.

Bianca DS1 got his MP3 when he was 9. Hardly touches it.
DS2 got one of Ebay with xmas money. Used it for about a week. Don't know where it is at the moment!

BiancaCastafiore · 18/04/2008 18:11

My bro is now offering to buy dd a pink MP3 player and put the HSM soundtracks on it for dd

OP posts:
BiancaCastafiore · 18/04/2008 18:21

Cool..if you're a 7 year old girl

OP posts:
tortoise · 18/04/2008 18:24

Very pink lol!!

Ludaloo · 18/04/2008 18:26

I wish my DD1 wanted an MP3 player.....at the moment she "has to have" a Nintendo DS.....I have said maybe....for her birthday...she wants one of those and the "Catz" game to play on it.

We shall see!! bet your bottom dollar...she will get one and DS will whine for one too, and they are soooo expensive!

Ludaloo · 18/04/2008 18:29

Oh....glad you got the clothes tort and they all fit
I was givn them for my DS and I thought I'd keep them until he grew into them, but as he has another 3 years or so to go, I can't keep on to them for that long...just cluttering the room up.

Ludaloo · 18/04/2008 18:31

Oh....they do actually play on them then RubY.... I did think it would be worthwhile for her, she is a wii addict too. We have a nintendo gamescube, and she would play all day on that too!
Bit worried she would have computer overdose!!!!!
I think we would manage it for her birthday maybe.....she soooooooo desperatly wants one!

Ludaloo · 18/04/2008 18:33

DS would really want one then though, he is following in her footsteps with the computers...but his birthday is only 3 days after hers, so that would be a very expensive month!
