Best products to clean really dirty kitchen

We're moving house and the house we're buying has been empty for 2 years and was previously owned by elderly people.

The kitchen is really dirty - inside the cupboards - but we can't afford to replace it straight away.

Can you tell me the best cleaning products you've found?

Pay for a professional clean?

Tool Station sell industrial cleaning products which are very strong. The tile and glass cleaner is brilliant for kitchens ( only necessary twice a year as a deep clean).

Honestly there are a million products out there but you'll get the best results from a proper scrub with a bucket of hot water, fairy liquid and a bit of bleach.

Agree with this. To remove any sort of stuck on dirt/dust likely stuck on and stubborn to remove the best way of dealing with it is hot soapy water and fairy liquid. It removes the grease easily, once that's done a good antibacterial cleaner will give you a nice fresh smelling kitchen.

Swab with hot soapy water made with bio washing powder. Mix 50/50 White Vinegar and Washing up Liquid in an empty spray bottle - spray on and leave ten mins. Open windows.

Scrub with something abrasive - damp Brillo pads for tough grease. Glass scraper with blade or wallpaper scraper for thick grease.

Repeat. If you can get hold of old fashioned Ajax or Vim powder, it's more effective than Pink Stuff or Cif.

Just don't mix together different cleaning products, particularly anything containing bleach - you may make dangerous chemical reactions, seriously to be avoided. That includes putting different chemicals done a kitchen or bathroom drain. Lemon juice & washing up liquid fine, bleach and caustic soda NO

Thank you. No intention of mixing products, I just wanted to know what people recommend.
