morning EHM

Morning EHM and Trinity.

DH took the girls down this morning so I've had a bath and washed my hair (still cant shower because of my leg and it's doing my head in). I've put the w/m on and loaded the d/w. Still no proper cleaning going on here but I am keeping on top of the basics.

Sink still clean.

He's nipped out for a paper hence the quick post !

Be back tommorrow !

Have a good day y'all !

TeenyTinyTorya · 09/04/2008 08:38

Morning all!

Have a few essentials to do today as well as my baby step. We have family babysitting tonight as we are off to see a show, so I should really make the house look reasonable.

clean bathroom
clean cooker top
put wash load on
vacuum downstairs
sort out laundry
baby step

TheMadHouse · 09/04/2008 08:41

Morning all

We are busy bees this morning, but are up and dressed and breakfasted and the mission is done (I did it while BF was cooling)

We are off for eye tests and then swimming - I have just taken two painkillers and I am sure the water will ease my back loads, just not the activities in it with two heavy boys

To Do

Empty the dryer
Ironing
Hoover house
Mop downstairs
Recycling
Sort anything for the tip (DH going tonight to get rid of garden stuff, or at least some of it)

Morning I don't have a toaster

Sorry I haven't read all the thread, but I have put some pics of me in various glasses on my profile. I will delete them all after today as I look alot like the living dead in them.I guess I should learn to use make up. My current "just never look in a mirror or have your picture taken" method works fineuntil I see a pic and am shocked

Anyway. DP hates all the glasses, so I still have no progress, but we are going out together at the w/e (hopefully) to try more.

EHM · 09/04/2008 09:36

dylsmum1998 · 09/04/2008 13:13

thanks EHM gonna need it. i dont have to do it til the 25th April, but want to get it sorted now as its dd'd birthday 22nd and dont want to be rushing it the night before!! lol
its getting there i have nearly finished. trying to work out if i can cut down a programme from bbciplayer just to show the 30 secs or so to highlight what i'm saying. not very good with technical things so have given up, and finished all the right up. i need to make a 2 page handout for all the lovely people i have to present to giving the main points of what i'm saying and where to go for more. have almost finished that now as well. so doing very well today.
just having a quick break as I've sat here for hours typing and playing around trying to make things work.

GO well done you have done loads. hope you dont have to wait in too long for the quote man.

I'm gonna find some lunch then make a last ditch attempt at the write up before i go and collect dd from cm.
am proud of ds as he has pretty much left me too it so i can get some work done and gave me the idea for the video clip add in to presentation.

dylsmum1998 · 09/04/2008 13:48

right thats me done, I'm going to go collect dd and think i might take them to park on the way home as its a lovely day again here
have a good afternoon all

TheMadHouse · 09/04/2008 14:25

Afternoon all

Boys have had their eyes tested and were really good. DS1 has really good vision, but an astigmatism (sp), which means he may need glasses when he 5ish as he might get headaches. DS2 is longsighted (like his daddy) and may need glasses sooner rather than later. No suprises really as both me and DH have specs.

Jas I think you might suit rimless. I have some and they have been great really flexable and child friendly

Swimming was strange DS1 was brill and nearly has his competancy badge, but DS2 threw a tantrum lasting most of the session???

When we came out there was a message on my phone from Mum saying she had made us luncha dn that she would have DS2, so I thought yipee, went for lunch and put DS2 in cot (he will sleep till 2.45 and she told me to collect him at 4 argggg it is a 45 min trip so not much time with DS1, but are baking and painting

Janni · 09/04/2008 14:53

Hello everyone. You all sound well and on top of things

DD at nursery, parents out so can be on MN without my mum rolling her eyes....

Need to: hang laundry and have a quick all round tidy up so I can see what else needs doing

BiancaCastafiore · 09/04/2008 14:55

Jas I like the top choice best

Not read thread (have been out and about all day) and no time now but wanted to say hello and bookmark the thread for when I have the chance to come back later

Hope everyone is OK Off to hoover the house while the kids are occupied playing in the garden Need to do a supermarket shop at some point too not sure when though....

Ludaloo · 09/04/2008 17:53

Hello

Jas I like the first/top pair too

I have been into town this afternoon...and came back to make supper, so haven't managed to get on here until now.

I am off swimming in about half an hour, so have to get changed and tidy supper things away (never stops does it!)

Hope all are well

FunkyGlassSocks · 09/04/2008 18:03

The first pair is nice. I like the expensive pair better though
