Mission Decrumb that toaster ladies

Evening All

I am currently sat here feeling like the ulmimate bad mum. DH is at the OOH Docs with DS2 who has hughe tonsils. I have put down his groucyness and snuffles to teething

I got him back from mums and she commented that he woke early and was a little pale, brought him home tried to give tea, which went on the floor, so bathed early and gave him milk, after massive tantrum (35 mins) I gave calpol and tried some teething gel only to see two hugh red lumps at the back of his throught which DH informed me were his toncils . So their appointment was 7.50 and I am waiting for a call

They were that large they would prob swing out and knock me down

Just the subsequnt child thing - with DS1 I would have had him at the GPs after three days of this, but no - Its just teething

We had a planned day of eye test, swimming with screaming, DS2 to mums for his nap and an hour whilst I made lemon drizzle cake and mars bar fridge stuff with DS1 and then home and more screaming.

Mine are ferral outside as soon as the weather is better, but rain and hail again today.

No, no pass the parcel lol!

TMH Poor DS2. I probably wouldn't of noticed either!

DD's have been outside most of the day. Luckily it has been really nice out today.

Grrrr PC keeps shutting down and it won't let me do a virus scan.

I quite liked the more expensive pair, too. The sides are pretty, but the others were more comfortable. I'll no doubt end up with something otally different, but will try on some rimless ones TMH

Have you heard from dh yet TMH? I'm certain I wouldn't notice tonsils, either.

Bewilder - Have you checked his tonsils? Was it your ds biting and scratching last week? Mine thinks it is funny to bite me

I haven't done much FLYing today. I am flagging as we get to the end of the hols, and I'm running out of activities. We have something planned tomorrow, and dd2 still needs to do her homework, so I'll try and get her going with that while I clean (or start a bit of gardening if it isn't too cold)

Glad the party went ok Tort A shame about your PS2. We had one and the disk stopped working so I suppose the motor went. I have not bothered to get another one yet.

TMH Dont beat yourself up. Sometimes the tonsils can swell up in just a few hours. DS2 did this. He was not right for a few days. I took him the the doctors and the doctor could not see anything wrong apart from his temperature was a little high. Then that night his tonsils when huge with in a few hours. We then called the GP and he came out as we could not get him to them. Within 3 days it was like there was nothing wrong with him.

DS2 and DD have been outside for most of the day. They soon went to sleep tonight.

Once I got up this morning (I never want to move from my bed first thing) I was feeling great (must be the sun I really wanted to get on with things. I have not been like this for months.

I done all the ironing and even put it away
Cleaned the fridge inside and out.
Wiped the worktops
Made lunch.
Got dinner ready for cooking
Then went outside and sort of played with the DS2 and DD and then read the local paper.
This is a lot for me to get done in one day, so I hope things are on the up now

I could not do today mission though as I done it yesterday

Tomorrow I go to see DS1`s doctor and do some more work with him to help DS1 get the right help that he needs. It is good work as I can talk and someone knows what I am saying and believes me. I dont get the "dont be stupid he is not old enough to do that" OK they did not call me stupid but the might as well have done with the way they said things.

I going to shin my sink now and that me done for today.

I hope I feel this good tomorrow.
