Morning All

Sorry I've not been around we where at the Ideal Home Show on Saturday, then manage to strain my neck in my sleep on Saturday Nghht. I've also have this week very sticky, pink eyes which is rubbish. I can now lift my head sufficiently & long enough to look at the pc! I've missed you all.

bianca thank you for being so thoughtful. you are a truely lovely person.
dylesmum thanks for the thread & good luck with the list. How is dd now?
saga good luck with your list too.I was awake at 130 to, seeing to Ellie.Thankfully she only woke twice last night 120 & then 5.

I am off to do today's mission & have my breakfast etc.

Have a great day all my lovely flyfriends & any newbies. Hopefully I'll be on line much more now.

EHM · 03/04/2008 07:52

ooops hope FGS the operation went well & you are resting up.x

TheMadHouse · 03/04/2008 08:09

I keep posting but nothing is working - off to investigate

dylsmum1998 · 03/04/2008 08:14

EHM oh my would go mad without my laptop for company. hope the pains go soon.
dd is much better now thank you. back to her normal cheeky self- thankfuly

tmh hello.

have managed half my list roughly (bathroom, hoovered, fed the dc, ironing , dusting and wash breakfast dishes) off now to get something out freezer for dinner, dress dd and get boys to school. will hopefully be back on this afternoon with lovely new haircut, and not to upset over dd's first haircut, i don't wanna get it done but the ends really need trimming up

Hello all. Not been around since the weekend. DH and I got a really horrible stomach bug on sunday so have spent the past few days in bed and attempting to take care of DD - she's watched A LOT of Cbeebies!!! House not too much of a state, all things considered, but will try to make a start with getting back on top of things.
Morning dyls, thanks for the thread. You've been v efficient this morning!
Hi EHM, glad to see you back
TMH and Sag, hello!

Janni · 03/04/2008 08:42

Hello All Intravenous - I think CBeebies is great and can be a lifesaver in those situations. Hope you're recovered.
EHM - sounds very painful

Forced myself to go to bed at 10.30 as it's just me and DD here, so knew it would be a
7 a.m. wake-up call. She's a very predictable 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. so I know I'm luckier than many...

Need to:
bathe and dress self and DD
do DDs meds and physio
have a 15 minute blitz on the study

EHM · 03/04/2008 08:42

mission done. & thank you notes written for Ellie's Easter gifts.

to tmh coffee poor you & dh. We've been there its horrible. take it easy.
dylsm good to hear dd is better.

EHM · 03/04/2008 08:49

janni at 7 until 7 Ellie is nearly 23 months & still doesn't sleep all night. Although I agree its a long day when its just you & lo day/night.

Minkus · 03/04/2008 08:58

Hello everyone

I feel your pain Sag & Dyl about broken sleep, am 26 wks pg with dc2 and cramp in my legs woke me up about 4 times in the night, was hopping about the room, now my legs feel like I have run a marathon!

Was ideal home show good EHM? Always wanted to go. Hope you're better soon. And glad you are coffee. TMH oh no! I get panicky if t'internet breaks! Hope it's fixed soon

I must say a big thank you to everyone on this thread, I had seriously fallen off the FLYwagon but just posting here for a couple of weeks has brought things flooding back to me! Morning routine now working very well and evening one on its way- hurrah to all you lovelies! Although I have been off work with hyperemesis for 18 weeks (yuk) and now I've finally got the vomiting controlled I am going back on 14th, not sure how house will fare then...

And even the mission is done already, I am seriously de-cluttering all of downstairs and yesterday I did the dining room, even the sideboard cupboards. "Just" got to tackle the spare room today x 1000. It has storage boxes in there from when we moved in (7 years ago) and I have no idea what I'm going to find.

Off to take ds to nursery then continue attack on spare room. Have a good day all x

DontDreamItBeIt · 03/04/2008 09:08

Morning.
I haven't read he threads I've missed, so I hope everyoe is well.
We go back last night, quite early but I went to bed with the children as ds only gave me 4 hours sleep at my mums. Combined with the two hour drive home which took almost three hours due to having to stop to deal with sceaming ds, I was well and truly shattered.
We did have a lovely time despie all that, but next time I wll try and stay a bit longer I think.

We are out all day today, but I have to go shopping as dp didn't buy a thing while we were away, so I have no picnic food.

Have a lovely FLYday, and I will try and get back to FLYing lateer inthe week.

TheMadHouse · 03/04/2008 09:12

Internet sorted - yipee

She had forgot to tuen all her clocks forward . She lives alone, so doesnt have any routine as such and is strange at the best of times, but she knows I need to get DS1 fed and to preschool for 12.30 .

Oh I feel better for that

TheMadHouse · 03/04/2008 09:32

Minkus Make sure that work doesnt tire you out - I worked with the HE with DS1 even went stright there when dischanged each time from the hospital - not worth it

jas Is DS OK?

Welcome back EHM I missed you

Sag Its getting to the time of the year for toes

DontDreamItBeIt · 03/04/2008 09:45

I'm no sure tbh, TMH - He is constipated (never ever been a problem before) but he slept last nigh, and poohed this morning so I'm hoping it was mostly just the srange environment tha kept him up at my mums.

BiancaCastafiore · 03/04/2008 09:56

Madwelshwoman · 03/04/2008 09:59

Good morning, my new electric toothbrush handle arrived today (how sad am I to be excited by that? ) So I'm quite chuffed although still trying to convince dh why it's better than a normal one.

Anyway little one's eyes are better so he's in creche this am so today I plan to

to do
Make beds
Dust
Vac
Clean out fridge and make list for tomorrow shopping
Write ranting letter to Tesco about wet floor on toilet they knew about and didn't clean and dd nearly broke her neck on it
Maybe cut lawn/swamp/pit of a garden
Shine sink (gone strangely dull)

That's me for the day hello to all EHM hope you feel better soon

damewashalot · 03/04/2008 11:21

Hello all, not going to let myself stay and read as am doing quite well today so don't want to stop. Hope all are well or feel better if not

So far have done Morning routine including getting boys to school on first day of term with swimming/ PE kits, homework etc but not s+s as bathroom needs good clean, have lapsed over hols
Also have cleaned downstairs loo and kitchen and hoovered hall.
Washing is nearly finished (in machine that is, it's never finished), 1 lot is dry and folded on dining table.

Have been looking at tens machines as at 30 wks I thought I'd best start thinking about the fact that this baby has to come out some time

Right I'm off to do more, have fun all!

Janni · 03/04/2008 11:22

Minkus - I find it's great to know this thread will still be here when you finally make it back
TMH - Aagghh - that is SO annoying. Not surprised you needed to rant.

Should add that DD is 3.4, so 7-7 is not SO amazing

Need to: put laundry in, do 15 min blitz on DS2s room, get ready to take DD to park and nursery

Grouchyoscar · 03/04/2008 11:29

Hello and Morning

Waves to Jas TMH MWW Bianca Saga Janni and Minkus

Hope I haven't missed anyone

Being a rubbish mum today I'm letting Ed play on the web and not doing anything else I've pulled a muscle in my lower leg and I need to rest it.

So I'm on the net, googling and IMDBing and trying to justify buying more books for Ed from Redhouse and finding out just what naughty Max moseley has allegdley been up too

Oh FLYing I've

Got up
Made my bed
Made Ed's bed
Stowed his extra quilt away
Stowed our extra quilt
Made our bed again (cheers Ed)
Downstairs
Empty DW
Put away
Make breakfast
Tidy away
Sort bottles for recycling
Empty WM
Sort into drying piles
Peg out (3 full lines FPS and only 5 items were mine)
Dress Ed who appeared in the yard in shorts, long sleeved top and wellies (all his own choice!)
Up to the office and stop

Please keep me relativley sane you lovely ladies

My dd is very similar Ruby She has the ability to do well but her concentration isn't great so she lets herself down sometimes...
We have 10ish spellings to learn with her per week for school and, like your dd1, she learns them fine as individual words but they're forgotten as soon as she needs to use them in context. Very tricky to get past I think...we encourage a lot of self-editiing of work etc but I'm not sure we're making progress...

I'm off to help at school now (had forgotten!) Haven't had a very productive morning but never mind.....

Back later x

EHM · 03/04/2008 13:25
