Please recommend washing machine and a dishwasher

So I need a new washing machine and dishwasher; don't want to spend a fortune as not got one... but want the best options possible for budget. Any recommendations? Tia

My top tip is get a large capacity (11kg+) washing machine, it is a game changer when you can fit 3 beds worth of linen in at once, or a week’s worth of darks or lights.

We have an old LG Direct Drive that I would recommend but don’t know if the modern ones are just as good. This one is 14 years old, 11kg capacity and going strong.
