Morning Jas, Thanks for the thread

Tort I can never get scrabble to work any more either Haven't tried fo ra while though so will have anopther go later if you like?

Kids are awake and lively - my bro only arrived at 3.15am so I'd rather they were quiet and didn't wake him but there's little chance of that! Maybe I should see it as revenge for all the times he picked on me when we were younger....

I have to go to work today so won't be arround. Better get on, I have a serious bedhead this morning so need to have a shower and wash my hair.
BBFN x

Have a good day at work too.

My DD has 2 weeks at preschool and then 2 weeks off. I'll be on crutches so we'll be playing lots of jigsaws

Managed to dust and hoover upstairs yesterday so all I need to do before my op on Saturday is maintain the place, change the beds and clean the bathrooms, and order a supermarket delivery. Plan to do one thing each day.

My 3 are already doing my lot!

I have put a dvd on now.... its keeping them reletively quiet though!

DS is being a pain....he is Mr whingy today.....he was whining for easter eggs earlier....NO WAY MR! that will be the 3rd day on the trot....so instead I made a big bowl of chopped up fruit...the girls didn't touch any of it...but DS pretty much ate the lot! Much better than yet another chocolate egg!

Ludaloo · 25/03/2008 10:00

Oh and I forgot to say.....

I have been slacking with my diet and fitness lately, and DH said he would do my Jordan DVD with me to get me back into it!!
We did it last night....but I have to say we spent most of the time laughing! It was soooo funny!
I have to say though...he's a lot fitter than me

DontDreamItBeIt · 25/03/2008 10:46

Trinity - check the local library, churches, and sports centres for cheap/free activities, then call every one you can think of and arrange visits, or invite them over.

I've dropped of fil at the train satio[huge sigh of relief as I get my house back]
Morning routine almost done. but I need to strip fils bed, and tidy everywhere plus do a load of washing.

Hello, not made it on for a bit but did do lots yesterday as had no dc for the day as pil had them all, still got the big 2 as we are having holiday now and they are bringing them back tomorrow. This means that I tidied yesterday and it's still tidy

Having real trouble getting myself going today, might have over done it yesterday

Will pop back later and see how you are all doing

Ludaloo · 25/03/2008 11:15

Would anyone like another son? because mine is going free to a good home!

he is being a nightmare today!

They have all just had a packet of crisps.....he comes and asks for another packet....so I say no, 1 packet is enough....so he pulls this face and whines at me....so I say no again, if he is still hungry he can have an apple.....to which he throws himself on the floor, tells me how much he hates apples and that they stink!
He slopes off, and then just as I walk past the kitchen...discover he has helped himself to another packet
He has now been sent to bed to think about what he has just done!
He had better not carry on like this all holiday!

Ludaloo · 25/03/2008 11:35

Tenacious D

Can't beat a good air guitar on a tuesday morning!

FunkyGoldStar · 25/03/2008 12:12

It sounds like everyone is having great fun!

We're back from a trip out. Jas - do you remember the denim jacket you sent me ? DD found it in the back of her wardrobe (it is age 5-6 so about 2 yrs too big for her) and has been wearing it all day. She LOVES it

scattyspice · 25/03/2008 12:36

Morning all.

Hope You'all had a good Easter, wasn't it cold? I have been trying to keep the kids out of the way as DH is decorating. Kept getting caught in blizzards!
Still DH has done wonders, house nearly finished.
We've got this week and next week at school then 2 weeks off.

Didn't get much done before school as DH was helping !

Hopefully we can move the Dining room table out of our bedroom tonight so I can do this weeks missions.
Good idea to start planning the holidays.

Hopefully be back later.

Ludaloo · 25/03/2008 13:00

Blimey there are a lot of people re-decorating!
There are a few on the boots diet chat too....must be a spring clean change type thing.

Well I am pooped! Have been dancing round the house like a loon. The kids all decided to have a disco, so we have had the curtains closed (wouldn't want to offend the nieghbours! ) and the music blaring!

Everyone has stopped to stick some stickers in their new books and have some lunch.

dylsmum1998 · 25/03/2008 13:53

3NAB · 25/03/2008 14:06

Hi all

I have been very slack coming on here lately. That's not to say I have been doing nothing. My thumb is still painful at times but I am doing what I can and only wearing the splint when I don't need to do anything.

Done

Mission as I had done it at the weekend.
Loads of washing.
Put away all airing cupboard clothes.
Sorted through DS1's old clothes and washed what DS2 can wear now.
Emptied d/washer and put on.
Prepped out meal for tonight.
Had lunch.
Put out cardboard for recycling.
Bagged papers for pet rescue place.

To do*
Clean out 1 hamster
Fresh water for cat and hamsters
Tidy lounge
Eat some chocolate - purely to settle nauseous tummy you understand
Clear by front door

TheMadHouse · 25/03/2008 14:08
