Aww Ruby

No wisdom here, but I thinkyou are right that giving up weekends with dh/ family would not help. Do you have famly who could take the dds for a couple of days in the holiday....they would get a holiday, and you would get time to yourself? Failing that, maybe book the big ones in to a holiday club?

Your mums anniversary must be having an impact too

I do think children pick up on their parents emotions, so when you are stressed and/or down they play up more. No idea how to change that though.

MAD HOUSE

Have you got two books to post on this month? Let me know. You should have I think. Would you post one to Luna and one to Flossie? That should keep things running smoothly.

CocoDeBearisCocoDeBear · 25/03/2008 16:05

Hope everyone's ok!

Jas has gone all transexual on us, I see .

DontDreamItBeIt · 25/03/2008 16:21

CoCo.

Now get back on that wagon, and clear up the mess

Holiday culb sounds very expensive
Interesting job might be worth losing a Saturday 1/2 day

I'll keep the sympathy coming as I have nothing constructive to offer.

Hi coco

Ruby no words of wisdom here either I'm afraid Infact I am feeling much the same

Someone said to me the other day that the start of a new season (and similarly the end) are notoriously unsettling. Apparently our bodies realise the change around us, and this makes us prone to mood swings and can cause de-motivation, until the season adjusts.......If you believe in the mystical force of nature that is!!!
She did re-assure me that once everything settles, motivation and positive thoughts will come back.

Roll on the summer...that's what I say!

Ludaloo · 25/03/2008 16:42

Hey, I like that idea ruby

TheTortoiseandtheEasterbunny · 25/03/2008 18:15

Hi all.
Poor Mickey went back to the vets today to have his foot looked at again. Another xray done and nothing found so the vet cut his paw open to try and flush out whtever could be causing his pain. He has a lovely sunny yellow bandage on.

Ruby No advice. I gave been feeling similar too. Don't seem able to get myself going and house is just a mess. Am hoping the weather will improve soon and i will feel better.

Luda lol @ DH joining in with you. I have been really bad again lately and haven't weighed in for weeks!

Bianca Will start a scrabble game later.

School hols start on the 4th here. just in time for my birthday! And DS1's!

Bianca Scrabble game started. Have to appologise for a rather good start!

TheMadHouse · 25/03/2008 19:04

Ladies

You are all wonderful and yes it is the season, next week will make a big difference as the clocks have not yet changed and they ususally have. Our bodies do get used to the change and we need it.

Also as it is so cold you can not see the normal signs of spring - baby lambs (all indoors) snowdrops, crocus', dafs, leaves, tree blossom, which are great pick me ups this time of year.

Ruby I always find that I become a little bit maudlin round the death of my dad and the children do pick up on it and act up more.

Coco yes I have two to do - tomorrow, tomorrow I promise and come back and FLY - I will e-mail you re update on L.

FGS I can not believe the op is on sat

Tort Poor Micky - hows the cold

Luda Give DH some baloons for boobs and then make him do it and put it on utube - PLEASE

Spice Wow you are doing well with the decorating

Dyls Enjoy Newphews party

Dame Enjoy the peace

MWW We have bunks coming on Sunday - ekkk

Waves to NAB, Trinity, Bianca, Jas, GO and any one else I have missed

Where is EHM Yad and Gibberish ?

I have done all of my list bar the floor mopping which I will do later and arranging collecting the play house. Which I will leave for DH to arrange tonight.

TheTortoiseandtheEasterbunny · 25/03/2008 19:19

TMH Cold isn't too bad at the moment thanks. Nose is a little sore though!

CocoDeBearisCocoDeBear · 25/03/2008 20:53

Yes, e-mail me Mad House, would love to hear from you x

scattyspice · 25/03/2008 21:16

Great round up TMH.

Ruby, I've got the grumps too. I'd choose carefully re PT jobs. I love mine but its quite busy and although I get a break from the kids, I'm still at everyones beck and call (and still don't get an uninterupted lunch!). The money has to be worth it TBH.

Well I've spent the evening scrubbing cement off the floors (on hands and knees)! This house is going to be spanking when its finished.
