Thanks Ruby EHM and Ellie

It's working in a nursery so I do get a lot of sitting down (and playing and painting and gluing etc etc) TBH it is good fun and good money, I just don't want to let them down.

I'll pop some more pills and put it out of my mind...Mind over matter - If you don't mind it does'nt matter

Morning all. Sorry to hear so many are struggling with coughs, bugs and temperatures.

DD has a nasty, dry cough at the moment which is keeping me awake, even when she sleeps through it!

Trinity Hope Gecko feels better soon. V high temperatures are usually viral which is a pain cos you can't give any antibiotics for them. Did you get to see a Dr?

GO Hope your legs improve and you manage to cope okay at work.

EHM Whale music thoughts for the toastie frosties

Sag Thanks for the thread

And a big hello to all those I haven't mentioned. Apologies if I've missed anyone out!

Had a lovely lie in this morning as DH is off so he got up with DD. So, need to get sorted and catch up with morning routine and mission. See you all later.

Ludaloo

Thank you for the Boots diet info. Have printd it off and it is tiny so will have to write it out again!

I have 1400 calories food intake and 291 exercise to burn.

If I stick to it I will be at my goal by June 4th.

scattyspice · 12/03/2008 12:38

Hi All.

Lots of people vomitting! Hope you're all well soon.

DYLSMUM - well done to your DD! We've been potty raining since NY Day! Still having several accidents/day.

GS good luck with those legs. I used to work as a physio for MS society so I sympathise (and echo the advice to pace yourself).

List:
Clean BR
Wash up breakfast - done.
Sort laundry
Clean up after plumber.

Going to friends for tea after school so hopefully the plumber finished when I get back (and hopefully we still have hot water).

DontDreamItBeIt · 12/03/2008 12:46

scatty - how old is your dd? It seems to me that all my rl friends had their children potty trained at two (and this time tround two of ds' friends are already out of nappies at just 2) but mine were both 3 and it still took ages I'm no looking forward to trying wih ds, but will consider it in the summer hols

EHM, NAB, ic, Dylsmum and everyone I've missed

(Still thinking warm cosy thoughts)

My list is finally getting shorter
I'm going out this afternoon, but the dds have lifts to Bownies and home this week, so I should get more done while they are out.
Morning
5 Wipe table/high chairdone
Afternoon
9 Where's the washing?
11 15 min declutter
12 mission
Plus
Hoover downstairs done
Prep doorframe for painting
Paint wall around door
I'll add to it as I go.

scattyspice · 12/03/2008 13:02

Hi Dont dreamit. She is 3 in 2 weeks!
DS was potty trained in about a week at 2.6yrs. DD is taking ages. She doesn't seem to hold it in so has frequent little wees. Also she doesn't recognise she needs the potty until she starts to wee. Her walking was very delayed (2.6mnths!) so this may be related. I'm loath to give up as she hates wearing nappies, is slowly improving, has a fab nursery who are keen to continue and she doesn't seem dicouraged.

I just do ALOT of washing!

Ludaloo · 12/03/2008 13:05

Hi

Back from doctors, DD2 has eye drops for her sticky eye, (I don't think I mentioned that earlier...but she woke with a sticky eye this morning)
I on the other hand, have suspected Kidney Stones, apparently they bring waves of nausea, and I have blood in my urine, which is another sign.
I have to wait now for an appointment to come through for an ultra sound scan.
Great...so the chicken soup I'm currently eating might well come back later

I had better get on and tidy up before it does!

NAB Brilliant! You'll have to post a hello on the forum, and I'll say hi

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 12/03/2008 13:15

PuppyDogTails · 12/03/2008 13:27

NAB I just signed up to the Boots Diet too and I've got exactly the same target! Same date and everything. How spooky is that.

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 12/03/2008 13:36

It will probably take me until June to find the time to work out what I am meant to be doing!

PuppyDogTails · 12/03/2008 14:16

£65 per week for cleaning!!! That's £300 per month! I wish someone would pay me £300 per month to do the cleaning. Perhaps I should become a cleaner. You don't have to clean many houses to make a good living. Does that seem unrealistically high or am I living in cloud cuckoo land?
