Oh well, I guess things can still get better[hopeful]

I have no motivation this morning, but will get the morningstuff all doe before we leave,

Take library books back - dont need to.
Post letters - will do later.
Wash towels - did yesterday [smug]

Finish tidying shelf in hallway

Clean windows and doors (in hall & dining room)
Straighten coat rack
Dust cobwebs
Mop floors
Wipe handprints of walls

DD1 swimming this morning so I'll do lots later.

Right, DD currently still asleep by some miracle so will try to get some of the bathroom cleaning done. Morning routine started but still a work in progress and have baby yoga this morning so need to be organised.

I moved the car 2 foot last night after Brownie pick up so I could fit dps car outside the house so he could get his tools in it for the morning.
I forgot you have to leave it running or it won't start again.
I didn't do it deliberately.

He has apologised (seeing as he doesn't need it for work, it wasn't that big a deal, which is why I was upset at being shouted at at 6)

DD2 is the only one not ready to go now. I bet we still manage to be late.

I've just looked at her spellings (test today, haven't looked at them all week) and they are really hard. She will not get any of them unless we fit in some intensive practice between junior and infant schools this morning.

Moning all

Well I have done morning routine, plus had to clean the carpet upstairs as DS2 managed to run into me and spil my tea everywhere.

We are going to be busy today, we are off to soft play this morning, as a treat to DS1 for not hitting his little brother all day yesterday and having lunch there, then I am leaving him with my mum for baking whilst I do the shopping (no way I can manage with the two of them)

We picked my mum up from the hospital yesterday and they have said her aurthritis is only going to get worse and that with her other conditions the medication is really hard to balance (she has collitis, chrones, inflamatory and reumitaoid arthristis, in addition to a terrible attitude sometimes) She got so upset about being a useless gran and not being able to do much with the children and complaining that I had them too late in life - like we had any option.

Mothers - dont you love em . Repeat after me "I am not responsible for my mothers happiness"

Sorry - just read that thread back and it is more like a therapy session

TMH your mum sounds a lot like my Gran; life is generally terrible, noone understands, don't know why I keep going etc, etc. Maybe we should introduce them?

Phew it's busy here today

DH is being just wonderful. He got up with Ed, did breakfast, emptied DW, put away etc etc. While I was at the PTA meet he put the wall cabinets on Ed's wall and put his Cars on them.
I'm wondering what's happened. He's being just perfect and I wonder... Thing is, I didn't need my stick to walk round to school which was immensely liberating tbh

It's World Book Day and I am CERTAIN that school sent a letter that they could dress as a character from a book. Last year he went as Billy from Billy's Bucket, with a bucket full of fish, shells and a whale. Today Ed has gone dressed as Christopher Robin. He's in shorts, a sort sleeved checked top, has an old fashioned Pooh bear (Not Disney) and he looks so sweet...

...But...

Everyone is in uniform No parent (except one on the PTA) can recall the letter. Shame we don't have a [mother on another planet] emoticon for me

He doesn't mind but insists on being called 'Christopher' and won't put his 'Edward Bear' down.

Non-uniform day at school today. We just had to provide easter egg for the easter bingo! Which means i had to buy 3!

I AM going to go and tidy my room in a minute.

Tomorrow i need to go into town and get the last of DS1's bits for school camp trip.
Hope to pick up some easter pressies while i am there. I buy 2 normal gifts and then do a small egg hunt in the garden.The Boys will get plenty of chocolate over their dads!

Hubby wanted to know what was the difference between listing jobs on here and on a bit of paper and really there isn't one but somehow doing it on here makes me do the chores more!

I really need to find motivation to spend some time in the spare room/office. I did loads in the utility room a couple of weeks ago and have been managing to keep it tidier so need to do the same in the spare room...just can't get my act together somehow...

Well, i have spent over half an hour in my room! It is getting better but still quite a bit to do.
Not sure when i will get it done though.

Just having lunch then need to leave at about 2.20pm to pick DD2 up from pre-school at 2.45. need to walk Mickey before that too.
Then
3.20 pick DS1 and DD2 up from school.(DS2 has art club).
3.30 DS1 opticians.
4.15 collect DS2.
Home by about 4.45!

Then
Back to school by 6.10pm(leave here by 5.45) for DS2's parents eve and 6.30 for DS2's parents eve!

Should be home just after 7!!
Might give DD's a quick tea between 4.45 and 5.45 so they can go to bed when we get back and get take away for DS's!
