Hi luda x post. hope lo is too poorly with the cold.

scattyspice · 06/03/2008 16:38

EHM, fantastic summary!

Busy day today. Dashing around to fit in:
laundry
wash up
unpack / repack bags.

Have done reading with DS though .

BiancaCastafiore · 06/03/2008 16:51

Luda youth club sounds fun - what do they get up to there? We have hardly anything for small boys to do here - girls are well sorted with ballet and Rainbows but boys have to be 5 or 6 before any clubs start.
EHM you're so good at your hellos Puts us all to shame! I did attempt to give the bank what-for but the guy I was put through to barely spoke English so couldn't understand me any more than I could understand his foreign accent!

I'm sooo not in the mood for housework and kids today. Just want to sit about and eat cake
My anxiety is kicking in as we've all been invited for tea and a play at a friends house tomorrow after school. I really like this friend but am getting worked up about it I've been to a couple of coffee mornings this week and been fine so can't understand why I'm feeling so stressed about tomorrow

Better go and make kids supper (easy jacket tatties, beans and veg) then we have to catch the cat and take him to the vets.

intravenouscoffee · 06/03/2008 16:55

Hello all. Got chores for the day all done this morning so have had a lazy afternoon and actually managed to sit with a cup of tea and read a book without feeling as if I should be doing 200 other things - the wonder of flying!

Have just read thread quickly to catch up then realised EHM had done a lovely summary at the end. Doh!

EHM Baby yoga is good but much less relaxing than the anteatal yoga I did last year where I frequently fell asleep during the relaxation practice

GO Bet Ed's had a fanastic day being out of uniform when everyone else was in it. at him insisting on being called Christopher

Hope everyone else has had a good day

Right, will spend some quality time with DD before dinner and bedtime chaos begins!

Not read properly, but noticed Ludas post saying pretty much what I ws going to say.
Went to toddler group, sat around, the the chippy for lunch, thenall the local shops, stopping at regulr intervals to chat, and back in time for school run

Better do a mad dash and make the place look like I've been busy all day....I love FLYin as I can do this now, anddp is fooled

Minkus · 06/03/2008 17:43

Hello everyone

Late post today as shock horror my internet connection was broken and only just fixed itself. Was starting to hyperventilate.

Grouchyoscar that really made me smile- my mum was always the other way round, she'd forget the letters from school re-non uniform day and we'd turn up the only ones in our school clothes, everyone else in their cool stuff . Christopher Robin was a great one to pick though, glad Ed got into the spirit!

Very little housework done here today, although am really getting into the s&s of bathroom. Windolene on the sink is just a genius idea it looks so lovely! Just about to do a 15 minute room rescue in the kitchen though and I think that brings everything back under control again so a lovely lazy day (including a 3 hour nap ) had in the Minkus household.

See you all tomorrow I hope (connection allowing)
x

sagacious · 06/03/2008 17:52

Well DD was a leaf munching triumph ..
Problem now is she's still (after copious amounts of baby lotion wipes and hot flannel) ...green Yes thats a picture of her..

Sodding green
Serves me right for buying cheapo facepaint I suppose

Off to chuck her in the bath

TheMadHouse · 06/03/2008 19:00

Evening all

Boys are bathed and ready for bed. DS2 has been a real star today for me this morning at soft play and this afternoon for his grandma. He came back with cakes and jellys. She is going to have him next Thursday pm, so I can shop for his birthday party and has asked me to get two white t-shits as she has bought fabric paints for next week.

I have done the weekly shop this afternoon
Done Mission
Hotspot
TD in on

I keep saying it, but I need to iron

SO going to sign off and pop the boys to bed.

Still thinking gluey womby thoughts for you EHM

Ludaloo · 06/03/2008 19:17

Bianca Youth Club is in the next village along, and they do all sorts of stuff. Tonight they made salt dough red dragons...and played games. I came to pick her up and she was chasing a great big inflatable ball (Bigger than she is!) around the room.
They can go from the age of 4, but DS isn't keen at all, he'd rather stay at home. (he tells me its because the lady who runs it has "Crazy Hair" !??? )

Saga LOL at the thought of you having a green baby saga I do hope it comes off!

Minkus I hate internet failures they make me hyperventilate too
Glad you got it back though

Jas I think a few of us have had a lazy day today.

Ludaloo · 06/03/2008 19:20

EHM Hello, DD2 is just very tearful...and whingy, cold is just on the verge ATM.

Jas I'm confused...are you moving? Near Ruby*?? (Very sorry if I have missed that post somewhere! I'm only half awake most of the time I am sure!)

Ludaloo · 06/03/2008 19:25

FGS Ooooh good luck with the knee op...no driving would drive me bonkers!!!

TMH Its great when they do you proud isn't it Fabric painting sounds fun!

Ludaloo · 06/03/2008 19:35

Bewilder...thanks by the way It has taken me ages, and I can't see where on earth a whole stone has come off...still feel exactly the same shape...(rather worryingly!) I wouldn't pay too much attention to the hospital...maybe they just say that to shock people into loosing a few pounds!

Bianca Just reading the tail end of yesterday's thread....had to have a little chuckle at you loosing your temper just as the notoriously early neighbours appeared I can just imagine they must be the type of people who always just catch you unawares!

Ludaloo · 06/03/2008 19:39

LOL...I am posting loads! That's how long it takes me to catch up on the thread, and I have to write it bit by bit, so I don't loose it all inbetween flicking over the pages...

But I am going now....kids are getting impatient(they had new books from the library today)

Big hello to everyone

Ludaloo · 06/03/2008 19:40

Oh..poo! sorry...forgot to say...well done tort Hope your room is getting there now.

Ludaloo · 06/03/2008 19:42

Is 7 uninterrupted posts a record do you think?
