Hello FLY Friends

Well I did not get the job but the interview feedback was great and the Deputy Head said it won't be long before I get a post as an Educational Teaching Assistant which is a positive. Another nice thing is the school where I'm working have asked if I will be added to their supply bank. OK not a job but definatley a positive. Just got to keep plugging away at it. I have 4 application forms awaiting consideration so, I;ll have to see.

DH has just been made redundant . TBH he's not phased by it as he said he expected it and he'll be able to claim back all his outstanding wages. Good thing is he can go freelance asap and he'll be around to pick Ed up if I'm working so no childcare cost there.

Hell I'm turning into one of those annoying 'see everything as a positive' types, you know 'My car's been stolen, good it will give me the opportunity to walk and exercise.'

Had a full 12 hr day. I started at 6:30 and have just sat down

Ok. It's late but I want to do a couple of posts.

go Have you seen my new name in your and Ruby's honour! Sorry to hear that you didn't get the job but, you're right, it's still pretty positive. Good on you! Sorry to hear about dh's job but it's excellent news that he can go freelance and get work that way. I'd love a glass of wine btw but I'm still waiting for dd to come home from scouts! She should be getting a lift back soon. Scrub that. She's just got back. I'll finish this post and then I'll have a glass of wine too.

PuppyDogTails The last time I paid it was £15 for the upstairs, downstairs and conservatory and I think it should have been £20 really.

I'm glad you've had a good day TMH.

tort I hope you're feeling better soon.

intravenouscoffee You've not taken me up on the invitation to come to my house to tidy up whilst you still feel like doing it, then?

Right. I must get to bed. Glass of wine or not? It is after 11pm. Maybe not. See you all tomorrow! Nos da. Good night.

I can beat you, numberonefan. Slight bout of insomnia here.

I pay £1 per window for my window cleaner once a month.

Goruchy, sorry about the job but the feedback sounds very positive.
