I don't remember the last time I saw the bottom of the washing basket, but it looks like a nice sunny weekend so I might just do it!
I have
2x kids clothes
1x towels
1x underwear
1x work shirts
1x jeans
1x pajama/loungewear

Almost up to date.

One load finishing in the dryer.

One load just finished - about to hang out in garden.

Maybe half a load of whites left so they can wait.

Bluebells1970 · 29/04/2023 12:07

2 loads hanging fresh on the line, bedding should really be washed but I'm reluctant to use the dryer as it's so nice so might leave until tomorrow. 1 load on the airer to be put away/ironed.

Floralnomad · 29/04/2023 12:10

I’ve got 3 loads that I’m doing today and that is it , anything that tumble dries will be away by bedtime and the rest will be hanging on my drying rail .

Bearpawk · 29/04/2023 12:11

2 of us, laundry once a week usually
1 x lights
1 x darks
1x bedding
1 x white towels and shower curtain every other week
1x undies and cloths

TakeMe2Insanity · 29/04/2023 12:11

3 loads to put away
1 to do.

Pascha · 29/04/2023 12:12

One whites on the line
One towels in the machine
One dark waiting

Then bedding but that will be tomorrow I think.

ThedaBara · 29/04/2023 12:12

You've all inspired me 😅

2 loads on the line
1 load going round in the washing machine now

There will be two more loads tomorrow

That’ll be it for the week.

Rinse and repeat every week.

PaniniHead · 29/04/2023 12:14

1 load on the line, one going to go out.
Towels tomorrow.
Bedding (still on beds) will be stripped and done on Monday

CindersAgain · 29/04/2023 12:15

What does your OP mean? Clothes or loads?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 29/04/2023 12:15

Two loads of black washing done yesterday and finished off in the dri-soon thingie
One load done overnight ( I use the Eco setting , it takes longer )

Still a basket of whites/lights which I might do overnight .
My bras all go in bags in a delicate wash with any fragile clothes

And I have my work scrubs to do which need a 60c

I thought I was winning till I thought it through GrinMine is a 10kg so great for loads of loads

FawnFrenchieMum · 29/04/2023 12:16

I’m not sure I could even count 🤣

Teen DS just appeared with his basket that is spilt into darks, colours & whites, so that’s three.

Ours (mine, DH & DD10) baskets on the top floor are full, that’s three baskets, whites, darks & colours. There will be more than one load in at least two of them and this is before I strip any beds!

I am never, up to date with washing ever!

TheFairyCaravan · 29/04/2023 12:45

2 on the line. That’s it.

shard5 · 29/04/2023 12:48

One load ready to put on the line and a half load of whites. I'll wait until tomorrow to put that on.
With a really busy last week I was determined to get to the bottom of the hamper by this evening. Nearly there!

FourTeaFallOut · 29/04/2023 12:50

One in the machine, one over the clothes horse, one basket full of folded clothes ready to be distributed. At any point it's usually like this. But there isn't much bar stuff that needs to be handwashed in the washing basket right now.

BrutusMcDogface · 29/04/2023 12:51

Oh my god. Too many to count.

BrutusMcDogface · 29/04/2023 12:53

One load in the dryer, one in the washing machine, one folded on the sofa (🙄) at least two folded in my room (🙄🙄), three in the girls’ washing basket (also separated), probably three in our washing basket. I need a bigger washing machine, fewer clothes and a laundry service.

Sadless · 29/04/2023 12:53

I did a hot wash for towels over night and 3 loads this morning of mixed. Most on line some on airer in house. Have a airer in garden as well.
Family of 5 kids hate it it never ends.

Sal

Mightyouandiconfabulate · 29/04/2023 12:54

it’s going to piss it down though.
so tomorrow is the day for washing.

Theoldwoman · 29/04/2023 14:03

It’s night time here in Aust but today I did

1 x dark clothes
1 x white sheets and added white socks and a couple of tee shirts
1 x delicates
1 x towels
1 x dog bedding and towel

Theoldwoman · 29/04/2023 14:05

I’ve never heard of anyone washing knickers separately!! Do you just store dirty ones waiting for a full load? Do you wash them in some special way? Enlighten me please.

AllOfThemWitches · 29/04/2023 14:05

A million

MintJulia · 29/04/2023 14:06

1 x handwash (woollens)
1 x sheets

Then I'll be clear. 🙂

Timeforachangeisitnot · 29/04/2023 14:10

We had guests last night, so bedding is currently in the dryer, towels in the wash, there’s a load of casual/ sports clothing waiting.
It’s damp/ drizzly here, so it’s either in the dryer or on the heated airier - leaving it won’t help as the forecast is dire ( Scotland😏)
