Vanish caused a yellow stain on bedding

Our bedding at our guesthouse had mascara and foundation stains over it. We used Vanish which removed the marks, washed the linen under a cold wash in the washing machine with no detergent. Washed it again on another cycle with detergent - looked perfect and white. Put the linen out to dry and yellow stains appeared. Can’t get the yellow stains out! Please help. Tried bicarb, lemon juice and vinegar to no avail. Bedding is less than a year old and cotton fabric.

you are not alone it seems! A poster on this thread used Dylon Brilliant White Repair with Stain Remover, that might be worth a try.

Thank you! I saw that and I assumed they meant they used it on other fabrics after getting rid of their Vanish product. Will try it. Thanks so much :)

I bought an expensive duvet cover and I only had it a week when my cat scratched his nose and dripped a small amount of blood on it,I sprayed with vanish and washed it in cool water on its own it was brand new,now it’s got this huge yellow stain, but the blood has gone this cover was $300 I got it on sale at farmers half price sale but to buy a new one would cost $300 this is not on.
