I use an antibacterial wipe on the phone and wash the case under the tap with washing up liquid.

I probably clean it every other day or so but we have a toddler in the family who likes to put phones into his mouth.

My phone is probably very confused!!

when covid arrived it was getting a Clinell wipe approximately every 30 seconds! Along with light switches, front door fob & tv remote etc

now it's lucky to see one once a week & that's only when it's sticky/greasy/screen dirty.

the keys haven't seen one in maybe a year, door knob?? Light switches (just added to a list of reminders).

[it's amazing how much has gone by the wayside, yet I'm still wearing a mask in shops & in the car when giving lifts (window open too) & when my tesco delivery arrives. Obviously in any healthcare situation. I'm quite vulnerable due to a few underlyings though. & I still avoid most indoor situations.]

When it's so mucky i can't see properly any more. With glasses cleaner and a micro fibre cloth.

🤦‍♀️ There is faecal matter on almost everything. Use public transport? Door handles? Self service machines? Your hands are constantly picking up bacteria and unless you wash your hands every time you pick up your phone (which you clearly don’t if you can’t wipe a screen once a week) then the bacteria is transferred onto that screen.

This sort of idiocy is so tiring. Bacteria are essential to life - even yours.

Thank god

Same

Same.

The other day I was cleaning my monitor at work with a screen wipe, and did my phone as well but I don't do that often!

When I get home after being out at work and I've used it on London public transport, in shops etc. So about 5 days a week on average at the moment.

I bring my phone to bed so not cleaning it would feel wrong.

Just after work really, work in a hospital so it feels a bit germy after that. Alcohol wipe and then a regular wet wipe to get rid of the residue.
