Stern voice .. ruby now if you'd have said ceiling .. (we still have a grease mark from the silly string at Christmas)

day 20 essential IMO

Bugger I'm so rah rah rah I forgot to copy the mission wonder if anyone will notice if I sneak it in here

day 20 sidles off

Now where are my pom poms ?

Yaddayah · 24/01/2008 07:50

Nothing says I love you like clean underwear

Oh I don't know a big feck off diamond would probably beat that

And of course you've all realised it was intentional to put mission when I meant babysteps

Perhaps I'm not cut out for gung ho motivational speeches

(Please note I had coffee this morning instead of my usual tea I will babble incontinently for hours)

TMH so sorry for your loss x
Jas wow, lucky with the purse

Dd has gone to school with a cold. I thought she seemed OK until we got into the class and I realised how pale she looks - hope she's OK to get through the day, the staff always seem reluctant to call unless the kids are actually sick or have obvious high temps.

I'll join you yadd, I have a big catch-up day today, esp upstairs.
I did most of my sewing project last night but have more to do today before I have to had my part in this afternoon so will have to fit that around the housework.

Yaddayah · 24/01/2008 09:16

madhouse Sorry for your loss
bianca Right ho , am off to start on the kitchen...

OP posts:
BiancaCastafiore · 24/01/2008 09:19

I'm starting upstairs and working my way down.
Mopped all the floors downstairs yesterday so it's not looking too bad, and anyway this project for school is laid out on the living room floor for now so there's no point in me doing there.
I'm going to start by making the beds and returning everything to it's correct room/place upstairs
BBL x

Yaddayah · 24/01/2008 09:46

Kitchen sorted
I'm now sharpening pencils

OP posts:
BiancaCastafiore · 24/01/2008 09:57

Sharping pencils eh? A worth-while job if ever I heard one

I've cleared the floors in all three bedrooms (yay! first time in a while thye've been clothes/clutter free ) I'll strip the beds tomorrow as I have plenty of laundry to keep me going today already.

Ds wet his bed in spectacular style last night so the cover, duvet and pillow are in the wm at the mo. I have at least two more loads of washing waiting on the landing and one more dry load in the td which needs folding and putting away.

Going to run the hoover and a duster round upstairs next...

NineUnlikelyTales · 24/01/2008 09:57

Am off to A&E now as the thumb hasn't stopped bleeding really so I might need a stitch.

TMH So sorry to hear about dh's grandmother

Hello everyone!

yadda you are truly mad! (But in a good way - you made me laugh )

Not going to be around much today. Or if I am PLEASE BOOT ME OFF! Starting painting one yahoo! Decided first one be from TMH's photos - a kind of compilation of 3 of the beach scenes (the ones with the crashing waves and fab skies). So won't actually look like any one of them TMH...

Then am going to tort's dd splashing in the puddles

And after that I want to do the paintings...

And after that I want to do the cat...

And after that I want to do the egypt one and all the others

Anyway. Am off not easle up now... shout at me if you see me here. Have a good day all!

gibberish · 24/01/2008 10:38

Am off TO easle up...

Okay okay am going!

gibberish · 24/01/2008 10:40

Or EASEL even!!!!!!! Aaaargh! Not reading any more...

gibberish · 24/01/2008 10:41

And when I said 'after that I want to do the PAINTINGS' it was MEANT to say 'the PENGUINS'

Put it down to lack of sleep - dh snored ALL BLINKING NIGHT

See ya!

Janni · 24/01/2008 12:44

Hi ALL
TMH - hope your DH is not too sad
Yaddah - you're funny!
NUT - ouch!

Well I, for the first time ever, wrote down and completed a morning routine. Made everything so much easier and I intend to stick to it. I ven did a bit of exercise and I haven't done that for over six months!

We can write our names in the dust so am going to have a whip round with the duster.

FunkyGlassSlipper · 24/01/2008 13:09

TMH - you arent having a good year are you

I've been to the hospital today for a referral about my knee. They think I have a cartilage problem. It could be easy to fix or very complicated but they wont know until the do an MRI scan so now I have to wait for that.

Just mopped the floor. DD1 at preschool and DD2 sleeping.

gibberish · 24/01/2008 13:15

Aw fgs Sounds painful! Any idea how soon you will get the MRI?

janni well done on writing down your routine I swear by lists...

Just having a bit of a breather whilst gesso dries... taking ages! Have finished off my bro's painting of ny though (finally!). Will get it framed and off to him.

Off to have lunch. Very quiet on here today!

ludaloo · 24/01/2008 14:17

Hello Ladies

I have been to toddler group this morning, then went quickly into town to buy myself some new trainers. I have big clumpy trainers, which slip about whilst keeping fit, so wanted some petite light ones so I can bounce instead of lumbering!
(I also bought some new jogging bottoms and a top..£3 each in the sale!)
So that's my treat for this week

TMH for your loss, my good friend is grieving today too (she lost a good friend yesterday, to cancer )
Hope your Dh is ok too xx

Yadd you are mad

FGS OOch....hope it gets sorted soon

Right well I have to have a quick tidy round, I am walking up to school today, the sun is out but it is bitterly cold so will have to wrap DD2 up and power-walk with the pushchair!

FunkyGlassSlipper · 24/01/2008 14:43

hi Luda

Gibberish - scan hopefully in a month so not too long.

Yaddayah · 24/01/2008 14:47

Repatriated soldiers guarding ds'es door to toy box
Ironed some shirts and put away
Re arranged pencils (!)_
Chucked out dodgy old chewed biros
Sorted stationary shelf

Phoned soft play centre re ds's party
Phoned credit card company and got grovelling apology and a fee free transfer (saving £40).. heh heh.. never get on the wrong side of the Yaddster !

Back later
