I have loads from South Arfica, loads from everywhere really. I am a bit of a snapper

Oooh thanks! Anything really - landscapes, nice buildings, unusual people poses i.e. not your standard stare into the camera look. Or ones with the children on the beach - natural if you know what I mean....

I've been really hectic and been flapping rather than flying this week.

I was determined to have a real "demon catch up session" this afternoon, until delivery driver turned up with Patio furniture that we had ordered for my MiL 65th birthday and was due to be delivered to her house today!
Had to refuse deliverey, no way I can transport it to her house, and waiting for a call to see when it will be able to be delivered. Its her birthday Sunday and it looks like she will not have her present!

So had to log onto net to get company details so thought I would just say a quick hi.

Right must step away from computer. There is a list with my name on it and im determined to get the mission done too

Gibber - have sent you a couple of photo's but after I pressed send I wondered if they are too large to get into your HM account - Hmm sorry if I mess up your in box.

Sorry to hear your sad news EHM. Have had an efficient day and got lots done but just feel a
bit down. Feel like I'm on a treadmill, nothing to look forward too. Have got to take DSs for vaccinations after school and am dreading it. Will make another list later.

You lot are fab! Just working my way through the pics now starting with Jen's.

Jen LOVE the tree! Sure I can do something with that... and aaaw at your little one on the beach. He won't thank you for that photo when he is 18 though

TMH LOVE the penguins - def going the one with just the two of them!

tmh just opened the large one - absolutely INCREDIBLE! Really hard to choose which one though. Am blown away by these.

JJ yes please I can only manage to get two done for this exhibition, but would you all mind if I hold on to these pics for future use?

fgs Absolutely fabulous - just the kind I am looking for too. Some really unusual ones there - esp like the 3 people walking down the road - Israel or Egypt or somewhere? Love the cat one too. Def going to use that at some point (I'm a sucker for cats)

People is Egypt so good guess. I have some more but they are quite big so qill try and do later when not entertaining grumpy kids.

Duvet day lasted until noon. DD2 grouchy all morning with childminder who called me to collect early

tmh some peopley ones would be great Why didn't I think of this before?

Once they are painted, will post pics on here. Will be getting prints made of them and will send them out to whoever gave me the photo.

gibberish hope you get great paintings from the pictures. I would love to have been artistic.

The operation went really well today. She went in at 8:30, was abck round in 1 hour. Slept for 3 hours on the ward, got home by 2:30. Got up at 5 though so am too tired t odo much FLYing, will put teh double load of washing away i did yesterday when ds wakes up.
Have read the rest of the thread but can't remeber much. If we buy FLYlady stuff what is the postage to hte UK?

DD is getting tired and grouchy so needs big cuddles from me adn DP.

Evening Ladies

The day is winding to a sedate close. I needed a day of nothing really

But I have

Swept and mopped the kitchen floor
Swept and mopped the front room
Put bits of train set away (but not the one I made yesterday)
Loaded and run WM (another load to go)
Made Pizza dough.

Ed got lovely comments in his reading records today and I got a thank you too for doing reading at home with him that was nice but I thought everyone did that tbh.

I need to snuggle down somewhere with a nice bottle of red wine and hide from the rain.

Anyway, with the w/end coming hopefully DH can look after the kids and I can remind myself there's a world of adults out there!!

To do this evening:
Reading with DS2, HW with DS1, sort out writing supplies so I can tackle my post this w/end, a bit of mending.

I have DD's cold now! Mainly a sore throat at the moment. They seem ok though. DD2 went to sleep eventually last night. She had earache for a while.

jen The soft spouts are a good alternative to teats but they are not non spill!!

Hi Tort Ed's loving school. He likes doing all the new stuff like writing and showing off his phonic sounds. This morning he washede himself and cleaned hi teeth withot any prompting or assistance. Makes a mother proud it does

Got my paints out. Had decided to use oils for these two as have been using acrylics for ages (and oils tend to sell better ). Discovered my supplies are low so have had to online order some. Hopefully will be here soon... still, will prepare the canvases in readiness. Very excited!

Dinner done and dusted. Very yummy. Pork chops, creamed potatoes, broccoli, carrots, creamed parsnips, brussel sprouts and lashings of gravy. Am stuffed! My fave kind of dinner though.

Meant 'spill' the details...
