Hi,
Just wanted to say a quick thank you to all the people on here who reviewed or reccommended a robot vacuum, in varoious differnet places. I kept coming across the name 'Eufy'. So I researched it further (as well as researching loads of others) had great reviews and I got one delivered yesterday.

I got the Eufy 30c and it was on offer, so even better. I've not had one before, so nothing to compare with, but love it so far.

Thanks MN

I have a Eufy 11s , I have a mixture of hard floor and short pile carpets.

I bought a new battery, new small brushes and a new large brush and my Eufy still isn't working properly. It kind of blows dirt around, rather than picking it up. It's 2 years old so expected better 🙁

@jenny5000 , have you been I touch directly with Eufy ( rather than just ordinary parts ) ?
Let them know the issue and that you gave tried replacing bits, I have found there customer service very good in the past.
I am sure they will help

Tempted.

Does the robot vac wake the dog up??!?

DeanStockwelll · 30/05/2022 21:48

I guess it depends on the dog and where it / and the vac are but it would of woke my dog up I think ( didnt have vac and dog at the same time )

My dd persuaded me to get one about a year ago. I got a hybrid g10 I think. I'm disabled so can't get the big hoover out. Mine is called Juan and has googly eyes. He does an alright job especially if I get him out every couple of days. My dh and ds need to get the big hoover out and the mop to do a proper clean every couple/few months. He keeps me sane as dh and ds don't see the crumbs etc on the floor. I empty him after every clean and am amazed at how much fluff and stuff he has collected.
The mop function does little more than drag a wet cloth around the place but it's a good placebo when I want to mop the floor but physically can't. He keeps on top of the cleaning and is a big help.

My Eufy may have saved my marriage!!

Slight exaggeration perhaps... but only slightly.

We have a basic one but works brilliantly to get floors clean including all the dog and cat hair. It does need regular emptying and cleaning but it's not hard to do.

@DeanStockwelll Good idea. Will try that. Thanks.

@hippolyta Thanks for the Bagotte recommendation, I ordered the BG600 and it came today. Oh my goodness. I am in shock at how much it is picking up, it is so thorough. And clever 😄. Slow but amazing. The floors are now the cleanest part of the house 😂Yes, I am a bit in love.

Sorry I know this is a bit of an old thread, really want to get a robot vac as the dog hair is just unreal, I would have to hoover several times a day to keep on top of it.
My main issue is I don't have a lot of room to put the charging dock and I think you need a certain circumference around it? Does anyone know how much clearance it actually needs?

SBAM · 20/06/2022 19:23

@Lloki ours lives under the sofa, it’s a eufy but I can’t remember which model and if I remember correctly it needs about 14cm clearance to fit under furniture.

Tontostitis · 20/06/2022 19:28

I've got an Liectroux called Toastie six months ago. I also have dark coffee coloured oak flooring and a white chihuahua. Toastie has transformed my life. He also mops if you change the compartment bit. My floors are about 5 years old and look like new now.

DeanStockwelll · 20/06/2022 22:40

@Lloki , mine ( and most I think ) need yo be able yo approach the fock in a straight line from about a foot away , so under the sofa, bed , desk , are fine and know someone that took the kick board off the bottom of the kitchen cupboard .
