Last day of the holidays here. We need to go to the supermarket then hope to meet some friends for a freeze play at the park

We always feel a bit jealous of my brothers lovely house but have come home this time thinking that our house is really rather nice (eps as it was left tidy) I feel a need to get on top of the problem areas so my FLY resolution for the new year is to keep up with my routines enough to enable me have spend plenty of time sorting out the junk in the utility and spare room. I'll be working at least one extra day out at work and another day working from home. I'll continue to do one day at school too but I should easily have time now both children are out till 3 to have a decent blitz on the house.

Thanks for all the kind words and thoughts. My appointment is at 2.30 and DH is coming too. I believe I get the results in three to four weeks.

GO Hope school is great for Ed - I am sure you have prepared him well.

Pants start to the day. DS1 threw my tea at DS1 in the bedroom, all the bedding is in the wash again, including the duvet. DS2 has been showered and I have the carpet to clean when DH gets back from the garage with the car.

Supposed to be at mums and toddlers, but I can not face it this morning so will go back next week.

I'm up and at it this morning. Beds have been stripped (Kids have been dying to have their new pillow cases...beautifully embroidered by Bianca with their names on each...thank you B xx)
Just waiting for the sheets to wash, new duvet covers already on.

Shopping today...hopefully after lunch, as dh has the car this morning.

Kitchen is a good zone for me too this week...it needs a bit of attention.

washing machine unloaded & reloaded

homeblessing day today and have done
15 mins in diningroom & enrtance
15 minutes in sittingroom
15 minutes in downstairs loo & utility room
15 minutes upstairs.

now have set timer and have 20 mins for cuppa and mumsnet before cracking on with ironing.

DS1 at school this morning and DS2 having a nap so everything feels very very peaceful.

DH is feeding the animals (children) so I am taking 5 mins to catch up.

I have had a mad morning - the following has been done:

Washer on
Dryer on
DW on cleaning cycle
Carpet cleaned in Bedroom
Badthroom cleaned
Ensuit cleaned
Downstairs loo cleaned
Inspired by the mission, tops all washed down, toaster cleaned, microwave cleaned
Cooker and units cleaned
Whole house de-cobwebbed - where do they all come from, we had non last week

I've done the beds,
Tidied the kitchen, and done mission,
Put bins out for bin men,
Tidied Dc's room,
Done umpteen loads of washing,and put umpteen loads away,
Tidied living room,
Danced about to Mika,
Had a friend round for a cup of coffee,
Made lunch.

Now waiting for DH to come home with the car so I can go shopping (dreading it as I have all 3 kids with me!)
Desperatly need food though so have to go today.

Managed the morning routine and then went to gym for couple of hours.

Kitchen is a good zone for me too as I am hoping to get it replaced soon (literally dropping to pieces) and I have people coming to quote tonight and tomorrow.

Want to get mission done and need to wash out oven as I left oven cleaner in it this morning as its been smoking since xmas day.

so have been and gone

Have been jiggling round to my Dermot O'Leary Saturday sessions CD that I got for Christmas - it is fantastic

Please all give a round of applause to baby glass who has been looked after my friend/childminder today and didnt cry once Even had a nap for an hour.

I, meanwhile, managed to do DH's books for the last month and then pop into town and get his birthday present.

Morning routine done. ALl having lunch at the mo so will start afternoon routine after that.

Resolved NOT to buy coat hangers however lovely as I have perfectly good serviceable ones and I just need to declutter my wardrobe(sorry ruby!)
Cleared kitchen
Re loaded d/w
Sorted laundry and put load on
Checked with MIL re babysitting
Drunk water!
