Weekend FLY - countdown to 2008

Morning all

I thought I would start by posting my morning routine:

Up and dressed
S&S
Make Beds
Empty Dishwasher
Breakfast
Wash Breakfast Pots
Hang Out washing/washing in dryer
Sort out lunchtime meal

All done, apart from the lunchtime meal, we are going to a party at noon, so no need!!!

I really need to get the ironing completed today, as we go away tomorrow.

We have guests staying last night and tonight (God daughter and BF) in seperate rooms - they are only 18.

I haven't really been to Taunton much other than for court! Its only 20 mins by train though so should go more often! I always miss out on sales due to being skint this time of year.

Done everything in the house thank goodness. Last load of washing drying. FIL has arrived (and is behaving himself so far...) dh is picking up a takeaway. Just got the packing left to do! Starting to get excited now

Hi to all. Good to see you on here Lewis. I'm going to join you in the beginners group (so to speak) as I've only looked at the FLY site about a dozen times in total and, although I created a control journal, I've not used it properly yet. Now I've an au pair here, I need to be more organised so that I can plan ahead and make proper use of her time. That means a cleaning routine (split between her and I), a meal plan list and a childcare/pet care list. Yikes! Dh eventually arrived home about 4am as the flight that A (the au pair) was on was delayed by over 2 hours. Right. I'm going to head for bed. Nos da pawb. Good night all.

Thats another scrabble game i have lost. Really i should be in bed. Am too ill to play games! lol!

I need to get back on track too - I have lost any routines and am also struggling to remember which day it is!
We have an open house fo ra few hours tomorrow so I need to get the place straight and sort out some nibbles etc (I'm very tempted to cheap and buy some ready made bits and pieces..) I also need to find your thread with the treasure hunt clues from last week - did you have any other ideas on keeping the los occupied for a few hours?
I had a mass clear out in ds bedroom and the bathroom yesterday and swopped some furniture around - it all looks great this morning

I get thrashed by everyone except Luda so far on scrabble ...I am truely terrible at it!

Dh bought me his company a laptop which arrived yesterday so I hope to be using that by the end of today [very-excited-emotion]

Treasure hunt clues

The name is a New Year celebraion, but I qiute like i,so may keep it for a bit longer.

My only other tip for occupying children at the moment, is hide the Playdough It will get spread all over your nice clean carpets if it isn't under lock and key..
(ours was hidden, just noT well enough!)
