I know that my mum is just lashing out, but she is 64 and an adult, she has been doing this all my life and now I have children, she can not be the centre of my world - thats down to my boys. I can ususally deal with it, but when I have other things on my mind it is hard.

DH has dropped her at the hospital this morning and I will visit when he gets in tonight. I will also bring her home tomorrow.

Well Morning Routine done and we are off to another mums and toddlers this morning.

I am hoping to get some ironing done too, but DS1 has def dropped his lunchtime nap - well it was bound to happen at some time.

Coughs, colds, vomiting here. Both DDs unwell. I'm knackered. Totally lost it with DD1 in the middle of the night which meant DH had to sleep in the spare room with her as she was so upset

We're staying in and doing nothing today. Cant remember anything about anyone except madhouse - try not to take your mum's sentiment personally as she is probably terrified. You are right to be upset but I imagine we would all do and say things out of character in those circumstances.

FGS Thank you - I am sure that tiredness plays a big role in losing it.

DS1's christmas play this afternoon so an early lunch for us
if anyone heads into mothercare today I am after some pirate PJ's they have sold out in our local shop & internet.

Ds had a terrible night, and is very pooey I'm not going to get todd2s christmas performance. Thankfully she doesn't have a part this year, so isn't too upset.

He is asleep now, so I should be FLYing. I've prepared stew o go in the slow cooker for tomorrow, and hoovered the whole house.
I eed to get the laundry sorted. There is a hue basket waiting to be put away

I have now tidied my house, run umpteen errands, picked DS up, had lunch, and now I am waiting for my friend to arrive for coffee (well she has the coffee...I have a coke )

Mum has come though the operation, although she told the nurse she doesnt want to talk to me - bloody woman.

DS2 is napping, DS1 is making her a get well card. I am going to sort out tea and then get some ironing sone if I can.

Ruby Ruby Ruby signing the Keiser Cheifs now - it is time to go though the stuff and keep some and get rid of the rest - how about a memory box, one for each and that way you can only keep ehat you can fit in.

Yadda need a box for all our craft crap stuff

Odd day. DH is off sick so we are having to creep round the house a bit. Why do DHs make the place look and smell ghastly when they have manflu? So I did my usual morning jobs and got Ed to school

I went to the Culture Share at the school. At Eid we went to a school with a 90% Asian intake, Our school is 90% white intake We've swapped and done Xmas. It was really good. I took the chewy/cruchy bars and they were a hit. I had to pass the recipie on. [which was nice]

Once I got laptop access (DH and Ed hogging it...wouldn't mind but ATM it's me who has paid for it) I sorted out my inbox and did my secretarial duties for the morning group. We've been asked to leave the Children's Centre but the school have welcomed us back. I'm sourcing activities to do and stuff to buy atm. I'm sure we will get support from staff within the school tbh.

I'm keeping an eye on Ed and I think I will make a Cowboy pie for tea
