Hello to all. Just a quickie as I'm going to try to sort out the living room in order to fit a 6' tall Christmas tree in it; sort out the fish tank; get changed out of work clothes before doing either and make tea. All in the next hour or so.

luda Please do give me a prompt.

Ruby Can you scan it in to your PC in order to keep it, if you'd like to keep it? That way it is just taking up memory space on your PC rather than house room but you can still look at it. As I do my family history, I'm loathe to fully part with anything as I know how fascinating it is to later generations esp something like a CV which can help, with photos as well, you to get a feel of the ancestor concerned. I hope I'm not making things worse here. Please tell me if I am. Oh, and I've done naff all on my Christmas prep. Do you have a list of all the things we should do to date? I think I remember two early on ones. Decide where you'd like to be for Christmas and arrange it with the family members concerned and buy panto tickets. I've bought a few pressies so far and I've written a couple of cards. I'm so behind with it all! Sorry to be the dunce of the class!

Right. Off to get changed and find room for this tree!

P.S. Would anyone like to suggest a Christmas name for me, please? Any suggestions made will go into a hat and I'll pull one out, so nothing rude, please! (Cue some naughty person suggesting 20 rude ones and 2 polite ones to make the odds work in her favour! - I would, anyway!)

TheMincePiedMadHouse · 11/12/2007 17:54

Why oh why when you have to be somewhere and ask DH to come home early - does he not or there is a load of morons on the road - his words - argggg

EHM · 11/12/2007 18:25

Sorry I've not been around lots of illness which has finally left the building. Hope you are all well & your lo's. Kept in touch with bianca via text. Thank You bianca

Well in between umpiring (sp?) shouting matches between DH and DS1 things have been great this afternoon. DS1 as King was sooooooo gorgeous and the whole production was brilliant - each of the older classes were particular characters and the nursery group (DS1) were the lead roles.
I videoed it for the grandparents.

Going to watch it again tomorrow because they had spare tickets.

Does anyone else find that their DS's tend to rut like stags with their dads? they are too alike for their own good / my sanity!

Anyway we have had pancakes for tea - not a nutritionally balanced meal but it tasted great!

TMH hope your mum comes to appreciate all you do for her.
gotta go and do baths so waves to all

TheMincePiedMadHouse · 11/12/2007 20:39

evening all

I am back - she is high on morphine and doesnt know what planet she is on

I am making bro go in at 3pm to take her a nicotine patch and will visit again tomorrow.

Jas · 11/12/2007 21:26

High on morphine sounds good Not sure about nicotine and morphine hough.

(Jen* ds is too small for me to nitice it yet, but I hope not, as dp can be quite scary without a mini dp to fight.

EHM hellooooooo

No festive name here either Simply I have no ideas at all. I did consider asking Ruby for a christmas roundup this morning though. I'm sure there is stuff i've forgotten oo.(Like a present for dp)

Grouchy - Would you be willing to share your crunchy bar recipe wih a wider audience? (ie us) Pretty please?

Oh and my pathetic attempt a FLYing - I put away most of he laundry pile and washed up again.
