Anyone have one - circular flat thing which hoovers by itself! Are they worth the money?

No

Aquamarine1029 · 19/06/2021 22:03

I have a eufy and it's fabulous. I've had it for over 2 years and I'll never be without one again.

Whysolong7 · 19/06/2021 22:08

Oh fan here too, looking for upgrade recommendations- will check out eufy.

Entschuldigung · 19/06/2021 22:09

We have 2 Eufys. Have had them for 2 or 3 years now. Absolutely brilliant!

Aposterhasnoname · 19/06/2021 22:11

Yes. I can’t tell you how much I love mine. Life changing, genuinely!

Yummymummy2020 · 19/06/2021 22:11

I have the dyson one and I love it! It really helps me out with the cleaning.

RolyPolyBatFace · 19/06/2021 22:12

Well, they're ok. I've got a roomba and it's good but it's not life changing or anything. It gives a good and light clean but not a thorough vacuum and they can be temperamental.

I mainly have one for upstairs - it's ideal for going under all the beds

YouveCatToBeKittenMe · 19/06/2021 22:22

I have a Eufy I got it last year after reading all the reviews on here.
I love it, I don’t use it as often as I could as dh is at home more than me and uses the ‘proper vacuum’ but I’m always impressed by how clean it gets the floors, how easily it copes with obstacles and mats and how thorough it is, even though it works in a really random pattern. Even dh is impressed with it and he was very very sceptical.

SkankingMopoke · 19/06/2021 22:38

I've had a Eufy G30 Hybrid for about 3 months. I think he might be my favourite family member, even though he wasn't at the front on the queue when they were handing out brains. He hoovers most days and it has made such a difference to how clean the house looks. It still needs a proper hoover now and then (once every 4wks), and I prefer to use the human-operated hoover upstairs (too many areas of small toys to avoid), but he has reduced my workload as well as made the house more presentable. I was sceptical how much difference he could make, but I'm totally sold now. I'm also amazed at just how much is picked up every day, especially pet hair.
The only thing I would change is buying the 'mopping' version. Mopping = wiping a damp cloth over the floor with no cleaning products, and hasn't been worth the price difference IMO.

purplejungle · 19/06/2021 22:39

Yes Roborock- amazing- best thing we own

Ronniechops · 19/06/2021 22:41

We have a Roborock S5 Max & it's the best thing we've bought for a long time. The house has never been cleaner and it's made us more aware of tidying up after ourselves as opposed to leave stuff lying around on the floor. It takes me about 5 minutes to lift chairs and barstools off the ground and it does its own thing while I get on with other jobs. It's a total godsend!!

WhoDidAndWhy · 19/06/2021 22:43

Yes, a Roomba and it’s changed my life. I’m fussy about the floors and seeing how much it sucks up everyday is so satisfying. Well worth the money.

babbi · 19/06/2021 22:44

Buy one … seriously OP .. it is life changing 🤣
Best purchase I’ve ever made 😀
My house looks so well cared for .. it’s on every day ..

mulberrybag · 19/06/2021 22:46

Eufy - literally the best thing we've ever spent money on! Occasionally shouts that he's stuck or chewed something inappropriate but 98% of the time he's amazing. Would absolutely love to afford an upstairs wife for him. Look for influencer deals where you can get at least £80 off

ChequerBoard · 19/06/2021 22:46

Another Roborock fan here, we have an S5Max and the new S7. Both hoover and also mop the floors too.

Amazing things - they map the house so I can send them off to clean a specific room or series of rooms.

Slimmingstar · 19/06/2021 22:48

I have a fairly basic one. Use it every day as I have a hairy, dusty dog. Best thing I’ve ever owned!

Cam2020 · 19/06/2021 22:48

No personal advice to impart, but I wouldn't recommend a Roomba if you have a puppy or a dog with temperamental toilet habits. The story that did the rounds on the internet about the dog-poop smeared house still makes me giggle.

AZisgreat · 19/06/2021 22:53

The Roborock S6 Max V is excellent but Roborocks are hard to obtain in the UK at the moment. Amazon.de still stocks some of them.
If you do get one, make sure it has the mopping option as well if you have any hard floors. Mine is the most helpful member of the family and I wouldn't be without it now.

tumtitum · 19/06/2021 23:09

I have a Deebot (cheap!) and it keeps going off by itself in the middle of the night no matter how many times I delete the timer 😭

GetInThereLewis · 19/06/2021 23:12

We have the Vileda one. We love it. I hoover with Henry once a week, and the Vileda obe has a spin everyday.

WhoNeedsaManOfTheWorld · 19/06/2021 23:15

I have an eufy. One of my best ever purchases and I wouldn't be without one now

SilverSilverStreet · 19/06/2021 23:19

I bought a Roomba from Aldi when it was mentioned on the Christmas bargain thread last November. It gives me a lot of pleasure to see it working away with no input from me, apart from telling it to start. It also means the furniture gets dusty less quickly, saving me from another household task.

tunainatin · 19/06/2021 23:21

I have a cheapish one that I can't remember the name of. I love it, it's way better then I thought. I vacuum about once a month now, compared to every day. Not so good on thicker carpets though, better on hard floors or very flat carpets.

tunainatin · 19/06/2021 23:22

I'm also amazed that even though I use it daily, it always finds plenty of dust on our living room carpet.

MrsWooster · 19/06/2021 23:28

It’s brilliant. My ancient second hand roomba finally died and I got a second hand eufy on eBay and it is a god send. It has a timing section so every day at 11.3O it trundles round the (downstairs of the) house for a couple of hours and keeps it pretty much ok. As a pp said, it also means we keep things a bit tidier so it’s doesn’t get tangled or trapped or eat random things.
