I am thinking of getting rid of my tv. I never watch it anymore and anything I want to watch is on catch up on my laptop. I have not even switched on my television for three years but have kept it because I feel it is the normal thing to have a tv.

Does anyone else only watch things online? I only watch a couple of regular programmes anyway and I get them from the itv catch up.. I get new from the BBC news website and watch ilms on amazon prime

Haven't had a tv since VCRs were a thing tbh, I dont miss it. Occasionally watch stuff online but otherwise I don't bother!

No tv and don’t miss having one. Was a right hassle to convince tv licensing people o didn’t have one though, they still send occasional threatening letters even now years later! Hmm

You still need a licence to watch iPlayer or any BBC on other devices. I’ve never had threatening letters in over twenty years without a TV.

I don’t watch iplayer or any other form of live or catchup tv; took me ages to convince them that I really didn’t need a licence as no tv, but they continue to send me threatening letters Hmm
