Brrr...it is freezing! Have had the fire on all night though so its nice and toasty inside.

Off to pick up a few things this morning and get a parcel sent off to my dad and his wife, who are off to Spain for 7 weeks on Sunday!!
Means we miss them over xmas and new year...we are going to visit Dh's family and my Brothers lot (who luckily don't live very far apart)we usually stop off at dad's too but they'll be sunning it up on the beach miles away
Anyway...tis a quick dash to get their pressies off as I hadn't realised they were going so soon!

Then I shall be back to tidy this tip

Cold here too. I have the heating on timer now.

dehumidifyer has been running all night and things seem to be drying out, hopefully we can return it early and get some money back, as we are skint

Busy day for me, as it is home blessing, food shopping, go to the bank to get money to pay builders - boo hoo, will have no money left thill next pay day for DH then.

Then I am going to make salt dough shapes with DS2 this afternoon for Christmas decorations.

I have decided it is too early for a christmas name yet, so may tryon something wintery instead

FGS your link to your post last night made me I have a plastic bowl but hate it! It was a tempory thing when the plug broke in the sink about 8 mths ago....still there...keep wondering when dh will remember to mend it

I've stripped the beds already and the first load is in the wm but I have a friends children here for a couple of hours this morning so don't expect to get a whole lot more done.
This afternoon I'll be doing more baking and clearing away ready for tomorrows fundraising marathon!

bianca I am really not sure for definate, as we have to wait and see how busy DH will be at work, but I suspect we will be over in Coventry boxing day, or the day after....and will probably stay for a few days, so sometime around 26th,27th,28th,29th...
Will let you know exactly when, nearer the time

Oh...and I have a plastic bowl too...I think it is quite handy really. Its easy for tipping the dregs away from cups when the bowl is full, and also it helps reduce smashes and chips.
DH absolutely hates it too! He takes it out everytime he washes hands etc etc and NEVER puts it back in...which annoys me no end!

LOL, you see...we can't even have a plastic bowl in the sink without it causing stress!!!

Well am tackling the little ones' room today Aaaarrgh! So much junk. Have got rid of 3 bin bags so far... Decluttering virtually finished then will detail clean it this afernoon and that's that! Got a friend popping in this afternoon too but should get the room finished anyway.

at your broodiness bianca I am kinda glad I'm not broody! I would be in big trouble if I actually started to want more children (DH is very easily persuaded and I generally end up getting my own way!!! )

gibberish....Yeh, I am on new tablets, but the doctor did say we would have to have a trial few months to try and get the strength of tablet right. Obviously I'm on too low a dosage.
Actually its only a mild one, he also prescribed me some Migaurd (or something like that) and that has taken the edge off it thankfully.

Well house is looking ok actually. I am just gonna finish folding a pile of washing.

Whats all this about bowls ?

about migrane....at least it is eased a bit.

Havn't been around last couple of days as have been v busy and DP has been working some odd hours .

Today all my plans were scuppered by a combination of pudsey and DD3....

I was going to tackle the toys that are sitting in DTDs room waiting to be cleaned for DD3 (have been in loft).

Was talked into making SuzyWongs brownies and Marsy's LDC for pudsey (was planning to do LDC after bedtime tonight) - so I had to do one of them this arvo.

Then DD3 didn't sleep v well last night. I think I had 5hrs of broken sleep....so would have liked a kip this afternoon.

Oh well I have made brownies...Cillit banged my sink and done bugger all else....and it is just about time for school run

Oh and I have a washing up bowl....it uses a fraction of the water if nothing else, as we only wash plastic bits and pieces...oh and DTDs wretched hand decorated mugs which still havn't broken

Do have one but use it for putting hot soapy water in when I am cleaning. Everything gets chucked in my dishwasher - if it isn't dishwasher safe it gets chucked!

Well have finished the room yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Looks great and the girls are happily destroying all my hard work playing in it.

Now to put away all the stuff that I took OUT of it....

Friend is not well so not coming. Gives me time to finish off and make dinner I suppose.
