That is a brilliant site. I may just do that. And checking on the Monday one, may have a cupboard wipe down as well.

yaddayah · 06/11/2007 08:52

As we're all ill/stressed I thought a rather quiet easy start to the day is in order

luda hope the migraines better and you were
able to enjoy the fireworks

fgs bianca coco ruby .. hope you/your illies are better

madscary best wishes too for your friend today

Waves to ehm .. were you the only well flyer yesterday ?

Well mini yadd's are off school/nursery .. ds threw up 8 times yesterday and once this morning: luckily he managed the loo so no extra washing .. weak

Tesco delivery today (have ordered magazines and newspapers as we're housebound today)

Kitchen is tidy as we're not using it ... a rather extreme way

Would love a cup of tea but have a very dodgy tum and can't risk it

Gah !

(have noticed most of my posts end in Gah these days)

BiancaCastafiore · 06/11/2007 09:05

Morning all, thanks fo rthe thread and mission yadda. Thank goodness it's a nice simple one today cos I need to take it easy.

Hope everyone's on the mend today.
TMH try to have a good day x x

I still feel quite dodgy today so am on a water only diet.
Both dd and ds have horrible snotty noses and coughs but are quite well in theirselves so they've gone off to school happily

My Tuesday jobs are to get downstairs hoovered, dusted and mopped so I'll make a start and see how I go...

I really need to nip into the shops too but am not at all sure I'm up to a trip out so that may have to wait.

ludaloo · 06/11/2007 09:14

Hello Everyone

My headache had just about gone by the time the fireworks started . They were great, and the kids loved them (well apart from DD2 who fell asleep half way through!0

I am still completely whacked today though...I woke up at 3am with a huge toothache and a throbbing headache I am thinking the headache was tooth related though, I got up and brushed my teeth...then came downstairs to take paracetamol....then went back to bed, and woke this morning with no toothache (just a swollen gum) and just a slight headache.

Well, I have lots to do today as usual. Need to go and get diesel, money and bits and bobs from the next village.

Oh and if anyone has a spare head...I'd be very grateful

ludaloo · 06/11/2007 09:16

BiancaCastafiore · 06/11/2007 13:29

Hello again all , hello EHM

Feeling miles better so far today. I've been and run my errands to the shops. I've hoovered and dusted downstairs, cleaned the hob and the cupboard doors
Can't be bothered to mop the floors though.

Ds has gone to play with a friend so I need to do some proper (paid) work next. At least it's just putting togetehr a list so I can do it at our kitchen table rather than having to go out again

Better go and make the most of the next hour of peace and quiet before I have to go and collect ds again.

See you later x

Grouchyoscar · 06/11/2007 13:38

Hello strangers

I feel I'm losing my grip tbh. The latest lists are huge and exacting. There are new people here and I'm shy and I don't know if FLY has changed and

Wah wah wah

Am I OK? I just do what needs doing and as much as I can. I never really followed FLY/Kelly slavishly but I got the desired effect. Now I feel...lost really

Got some good news today. I got selected for an interview for the job I applied for. I hope it goes well, I so need a job

Ed is fussing, must go and see to him

FieryGlassSlipper · 06/11/2007 13:40

Hi grouchy, dont feel left out. I'm trying to do the FLYLADY thing properly with my control journal and everything because if I dont then I get really lost and can't keep up.

Perhaps we could all re-visit the babysteps to build up again?

BiancaCastafiore · 06/11/2007 13:45

Oh Grouchy don't worry or feel lost - you do so well

There are some new people around, but they're a friendly bunch, no need to be shy

We're all doing what we can when we can, no-one is here to judge how much anyone else does or doesn't do

When's the interview? Hope it works out x

BiancaCastafiore · 06/11/2007 13:48

Good plan FGS, I found when Jas redid the baby steps I got myself settled into a really great routine which on the whole keeps the house straigher and me sane

BTW Grouchy I'm not a newbie - I name changed a month or so ago cos I was outed in RL (may have been while you were on your hols) x

Grouchyoscar · 06/11/2007 13:53

Babystepping might be a good ides. I never did it originally.

Thanks for the pep talks folks

The interview is on Friday Morning. I hope it works out well as it will be in school hours.

EHM · 06/11/2007 14:23

grouchy Good luck with the interview.I never did Babysteps either. I've found my own routines & stick with them. I don't have a control journal & shamefully didn't know what one was until recently. I agree with bianca no one is here to judge. I always thought the thread was more about encouraging each other, when ever its needed. Offering help, advice about routines etc. I think you have to find what suits you & what makes your daily routines/life easier. Its so easy to feel you are loosing control of everything.
I am not sure if this helps? I hope that the more experienced fly ladies such as jas, FGS & ruby can offer better advice
All I know is that these ladies feel more like RL friends than my own RL friends who I see very little of. I couldn't have done it without them. Thanks everybody.
