Good morning everyone

I'm hoping all those new FLY graduates will brave this thread and join in.

We really aren't tha scary

I am posting my daily routine, as it isn'tthat different to everyone elses. Sometmes I even manage to get it ll done

Morning
1 Make bed
2 Washing machine
3 Breakfast INCLUDING ME
4 Wash up/shine sink
5 Wipe table/high chair
6 Clear surfaces
7 Packed lunches
8 What's for tea?
Afternoon
9 Where's the washing?
10 2 min hotspot
11 15 min declutter
12 mission
Evening
13 Tea
14 Wash up/shine sink
15 Wipe table/highchair
16 DD1 homework/tables
17 DD2 homework/reading/spelling
18 Baths
19 Tidy toys
20 Hoover
21 School bags

Today I have agreed to go and work early on the condition thatI don't have to wake dd2. Everyoeelse is up and porridge is almost ready, so if she wakes up soon we will be off early.

DP will be working here, so he will hoover up the rubble upstairs, and Ijust have to keep downstairs under control.

Morning to all who follow

Well I have woken up and I can barely speak! The kids are finding it very funny.
My throat feels like I have a ping pong ball stuck in it...I can't swallow! I have had a strepsil and a muffin for breakfast today!

I am also panicking a bit...it has only just occured to me that tomorrow is Halloween. My friend is comming round with her 2 DD's, and we are going to take them all out around the village (Its great as pretty much all the village gets involved. We know which doors to knock IYKWIM...we avoid the elderly, and target the mum's ) Her SIL is comming too with her DS.
Soooo we are going trick or treating (if its not raining) and then having a bit of a party.
Has anyone any ideas for decorations...or food...or party games that don't involve spending any money!?
We haven't calved our pumpkins yet so we can do that today.

Right dw & wm on I want to get ready & out early if I can to purchase Acclaim from local vets as DH didn't arrive back from work last night until 710 & this vets closed at 7! Arrrgh. I know FGS I should have ordered on line & paid extra to have next day delivery.DH thought he would be back in time.

My back is aching this morning after the major flying yesterday so taking it easy today. Todays mission done yesterday anyway.

Have a great day all. Ellie's bites have nearly gone, which is great.

Morning all.

Just found DSD's diary when decluttering her room. I haven't read it but I'm all shaken up thinking it must be all about what a terrible stepmother I am. I mean, kids never write positive things in a diary, do they?

Supermonkey - dont read it. You'll never get back the trust if she finds out. My stepbrother read mine and told all his friends. I was 16 and it was very embarrassing but I still remember

EHM - fleas are horrid. When you treat the house dont worry if you still see th fleas for a while. It will be new eggas hatching but the spray will kill them very quickly. It just takes a bit of time. Yuk

DDs still both have coughs, as do I. Had to take my inhaler for first time in ages (I get asthma in the winter).

Anyway, halfway through morning routine and then we're off out.

Morning all and welcome any recent graduates

I have done morning routine and the boys are making a mess in the lounge. We have friends coming round today, so flying will be minimal and evening routine massive.

I am also visting at the hospital today - no scan yesterday, so no news as of yet

Do you all want a chuckle received a phone call from dh about 45 mins ago. He advised whilst trying to board EuroStar to Brussels this morning he discovered he had Ellie's passport instead of his own He had his driving licence so they let him on but his concern is he wont get back(they did say this might happen) I now have to rush about trying to get a photo copy of his passport & fax to him when he gets there.

I have till 3.30 with the house to myself
I need to
~do all the usual routines
~finish sewing some sparkles onto dds costume for ther halloween party (tis tonight)
~iron
~2x loads of washing
~mop floors
~wash rug from living room (dd spilt her spagetti on it last night!)
~sort through Christmas presents and tick off on list
~start making home-made gifts (really need to get going on these now)

I'm not planning to read it FGS, I'm sure it will only upset me! As I said, kids don't write positive things about their parents in the diary IIRC.

DS seems to have had a bit of a break through on the napping, he's still asleep after an hour which is unheard of. I've done my morning chores already and have time to kill .

OK so I;ve been on MN too long....

Make bed
Swish & Swipe en suite bathroom
Put a wash load in
Empty dishwasher
Feed cat & fish
Check calendar
DRINK SOME WATER
Clear away breakfast things
Think about what you want for dinner - take out meat if necessary.
2 minute hotspot
5 minute room rescue

Still need to do 10 and 11 so will go and do that now before I go out. Will also play with my daughters

Well so far I have faffed about on youtube to compile some halloween disco tunes..

I've found some printables and some posters

I've been over to the shop and brought some sweet snakes, to make a snake jelly, and some little jelly beetles to put in ice cubes.

I've cut up a few bin bags and made door tassle things which dangle down, and found my halloween cookie cutters, so I can make some biscuits.

Pannick over My friend has some bits and bobs she is dropping over today.

DD1 is the most excited I have ever seen her!!!

DSD is 11, has just started secondary school. Hopefully it's all about boys and pop stars!

In your esteemed opinions, should I 'fess up to her that I found it, tell her I didn't read it and that I won't tell her dad about it? I'm just worried now that, when she realises I've gutted her room, she might realise I've found it and think I've read it (and hence lose trust in me). Any views?

Morning everyone! Hello newbies

At work yesterday so no flying-then home to find two glum in-laws waiting for me to go to pub for dinner with them at 9pm. sigh.

Anyway-today I have my new lovely handyman here doing all those jobs that DH can't /won't do!

Today:

Ironing
Washing
Make dinner
order Pippi Longstocking from Red House(thanks Ruby for tip)
Meeting at 3pm
Must do 15 mins paying bills
Phone HMCR re NI bill.

Luda what about that game where you have to put on the gloves hat and scarf then cut up the chocolate bar with a knife and fork and eat as much as you can in a minute(or until something else happens that I can't remember?)Hope you feel better by party time!

The diary was hidden behind a stack of books (the only tidy thing in the room, should have been suspicious!) I think I agree, I'll put it back there and make sure the stack of books looks untouched. Least said the better.

DS asleep again [phew emoticon] so I'm getting on with the ironing which I should have done on Sunday .
