Bath mat you can wash

Decided to replace thinning, miserable bath mats.

But I’ve had previous ones that do go in the washing machine, but refuse to be spun, and remain waterlogged for weeks until they go mouldy and have to be chucked away.

Any advice?

Mine are B&M - good value, machine washable and dry well.

If my washing machine is overloaded, or sometimes for no apparent reason (bosch) it will do a load without spinning properly and leave everything much damper than usual. I then just leave it another 15min for a spin cycle alone, which removes alot more water.

I've never had a mat go mouldy though! I can only assume you are trying to dry it in a wet room and not drying it quick enough? Mine is also fairly thick with protruding little finger things, almost like a thick shag pile, but never had any issues.
