6pm and it's pitch black in West Yorks...ooooh, I love winter!

Job application is ready to go in tomorrow. All that really needs doing is to Vac the front room floor (Why is it choddy, I did it yesterday, there's 3 people and 3 cats and it looks like the builders have been in on the rug???? I blame the moggies)

I am going now so I'll pop by tomorrow, have good evenings ladies

As for blokes cleaning the loo...how absolutely cool is that!!!
Mine was very ill in ours last night....he didn't even flush...I found the stuck on contents this morning

The clocks going back is killing me....the kids are all very tired but I daren't put them to bed yet other wise we will all be up at god knows what time.

My xmas cake was great fun to make...dh went back out after he woke at midday, so the kids and I got stuck in, they had a fab time getting very sticky! It is still in the oven now...due to come out at 8.20 ish! (that's 4 hours!)

Well as dh still isn't back....I had better try and entertain the kids a bit as they are all tired and all beginning to bicker with each other. Maybe I can get them all in bed for a story.

My day has been lovely.
EHM was every bit as lovely as I thought she'd be Her dd is lovely too and has the best chuckle I've heard in ages
Once EHM and family left I popped out to visit another friend and ended up staying for supper I haven't been home long.
A very nice sociable day

The kids have just gone to bed, ds is asleep already but I can hear dd playing in her room still.

We have a friend to play tomorrow (INSET day so no school till Tuesday) and ds has a haircut booked (you'll all hear his screams tomorrow morning I'm sure)

We want to watch the new Ewan Mcgregor programme this evening and by the time that finishes I'll be exhausted and well and truely ready for bed.

Update on Friend - she can feel her legs, but has broke her back. Decision is going to be made weather to operate or not tomorrow. Either way likley to have 6 weeks on spinal injury unit. She fell through a ceiling of a 2 story extension on to the stairs - she is actually lucky to be alive. She can feel and move her legs, but is being kept imobile. Thank you. I am off to visit at 3pm again tomorrow with lasagne and coke!!!!

Bianca - love the pumpkin. We bought one yesterday to do.

TMSH - how frightening. Glad your friend has feeling already. That is a good sign.

luda We had a lovely time with bianca and her family. Just as lovely as I imagined too very warm & friendly. The lo's are cute & very friendly. My dd had a ball, and was balling her eyes out when we had to leave I wish we could have stayed longer. A big thank you to Bianca & her family for their warm hospitality & the yummy LDC I hope Ellie didn't wreck the house too muchVery of their lovely, spotless home.

EHM Glad you had a good day, hope the journey home was OK. Of course Ellie didn't wreck the house, it was abnormally clean and tidy in honour of your visit - you should see the state of it now - back to it's usual messy self already

Jas we used a supercooks set from the supermarket - about £2.99 gets you some templates and a little set of tools to mark out and cut the shape - very easy and a great way to be more imaginative than I would usually be! This was a set from last year, I'm not sure if the designs vary from year to year...
