Morning Everyone

We woke up this morning at about 8am!!!...then realised the clocks needed to go back, so it was only 7am.

You know who was sprawled half across the poofe and half across the sofa Gawd knows what time he got in, he was also quite ill too
I managed to wake him up but he has gone up to bed. On the good side I'm slightly that he is suffering but on the down side he will be useless all day

Thank you to GO, Bianca and madhouse for your support you are such a fab lot xx

Jas I feel your pain I really do, I know you don't do hugs but here is one anyway

Well today I plan to do this bloomin christmas cake, the kids have been nagging me for days. I need to go and get all the bits.

Hope all are well

ludaghoul · 28/10/2007 07:37

AHHHH I knew it wasn't madhouse...it was neverenough (sorry...it wouldn't let me check the first page without losing my message!)
Thank you neverenough

ludaghoul · 28/10/2007 07:42

Oh...and Bianca and EHM hope you have a brill day, I am sure you will
(EHM just ignore the hairy hands and the large axe she carries with her.... )

gibberish · 28/10/2007 07:59

MORNING!!! Aaw luda and jas hope you have a better day today. Men in general need a good slap upside the head...

Wonder what time never will be here - she was up VERY late last night

I'm not going to do much today. Actually managed to do all the missions and the zone cleaning this week Also did ALL of the ironing That's why you haven't seen me much - I was actually doing it instead of typing about doing it Just need to do a bit of hoovering and dusting and some washing today.

BiancaCastafiore · 28/10/2007 08:19

Aww Luda You weren't supposed to mention the hairy hands and the axe, you've spoilt my suprise for EHM now!
Hope you have a good day, well done on making a Christmas cake - good luck! My MiL makes ours every yearso I manage to avoid having to make my own (actually I think I'd quite like to give it a try)

Good to see you gibberish

ludaghoul · 28/10/2007 08:21

bianca

Hi gibberish

BiancaCastafiore · 28/10/2007 08:23

Luda
Have a good day x

TheMadScaryHouse · 28/10/2007 08:24

Luda I was there with you really offering my support

My DG is still in bed and the kids have been up sink 5.30 argggggggggggg. DS2 was sick again last night in his sleep, so all his bedding etc is in the TD - How do you get a 16 month old bed to sleep after a full change and wash. In fact he still has sick in his hair.

Today we are off to the in-laws and then I have to cook roast and more more plants (Jas sorry about the typing - dyslexic and also brain works faster than fingures)

I only have 4 Christmas pressies to buy now and a pumpkin to carve - yippee

Although I am still so hot

ludaghoul · 28/10/2007 08:34

you too xx

madhouse...ahh, you see, I knew you were!

Right I had better get off and do something!

BiancaCastafiore · 28/10/2007 09:46

Our pumpkin is all done We decided against a face and have followed a pattern and done a witch on a broomstick instead. Looks a bit strange in daylight but we just lit the candle and turned off the lights and it looks cool! It's like a witch flying across a full moon.

I need to run the hoover round but then my house will be tidy and lovely

Then we'll be off to meet EHM for lunch

See you all later x

Jas · 28/10/2007 09:55

Thanks ladies. It s good to have a moan occasionally.

DP got up this morning with the children Shame he didn't feed them
DD2 got pacakes from Mac Donalds. The other two got nothing
They are tucking into huge bowls of porridge now.

I have o idea what to do today I need to shop this afternoon, or we will have no diner later.

Jas · 28/10/2007 09:56

Bianca - any chance of a pumpkin picture? It sounds great.

BiancaCastafiore · 28/10/2007 10:41

I'll see what I can do Jas...still don't have a digital camera so it'll have to be a picture from my phone! I'll take one when it gets dark later and see how it looks x

spookybatoscar · 28/10/2007 10:56

Morning Every fab one of you

Neverenoug Yesterday was a bit of a catch up. When DH is out and Ed is at MIL's I can do a bit of a blitz on the big stuff. I tend to do a fair bit everyday. Thanks for noticing my endeavours

Done a list for today and so far I have

DONE
Make our bed
Make Ed's bed and draw curtains
Clean Loo
S&S bathroom
Empty upstairs bins
Empty DW
Put away
Load DW
Shine sink
Put rubbish out
Run WM
Get bag ready for tomorrow
Get Ed's uniform ready for tomorrow

To Do

Nothing really, on top of stuff. If I'm looking for things to do there's

Put polyfiller in hole in front room wall
Sew name tapes in Ed's new uniform
Make crunch bars and flapjacks

But I think as Ed and DH are in the office, I will go back to bed and rest up instead.

Hope you all have nice, relaxing days as you all deserve one

TheMadScaryHouse · 28/10/2007 13:39

OMG

I have just found out one of my dearest friends is in hospital having fallening 12 feet through another friends on-going extention (it is currently being built).

She is in the trauma ward and looks to have broken a verabrae, although this is going to be confirmed tomorrow once she can have an MRI scan. I am besides myself.

Her DH works away and has just got back home and she has two DS. I am going to visit as soon as I can 3pm. So please please please have some positive thoughts for her

spookybatoscar · 28/10/2007 13:52

{{{Good Vibes}}} for your friend MSH

Jas · 28/10/2007 13:52

MSH I will be thinking of her. I hope she makes a speedy recovery.

gibberish · 28/10/2007 15:04

Oh MH what a shock for you. Hope she is ok. You just never know what is going to happen from one second to the next...

We've just got back from Pizzahut - treated by dh. Need to remortgage the house though - not cheap to eat out with 4 children!

Have dusted and got second load of washing on. Off to hoover then read my book for a bit

Neverenoughpumpkins · 28/10/2007 15:19

Good afternoon all Luda glad to be of help!Have fun making the cake-one of my favourite pre Christmas rituals!
Jas hope your day is better than yesterday!

gibberish I turned the light off on DD2 and friends at 2.30am and they still chatted for another hour! And then they were up before me!Early night for me tonight!

TMSH hope your friend is ok.

Bianca and EHM hope your day together is great!
I'd love to see the pumpkin Bianca-think we will do one tomorrow-hopefully Tesco will reduce the price a bit and we will have pumpkin soup too!

Grouchy have a quieter day today I hope! Too much work makes you....grouchy!. How old is Ed?

I have some amazing breaking news that I hope will inspire and delight you all-especially Grouchy:

DH cleaned the toilet yesterday morning!!!!!!!
And I didn't even ask him to!

So you see, flying does eventually rub off on others!

gibberish · 28/10/2007 15:31

lol never You are a true nightowl Early night for me too - work in the morning

WOW! How did you bribe him to do that? Or shouldn't I ask...

gibberish · 28/10/2007 15:32

Oh and tell me to GET OFF HERE! Still havent hoovered...

Neverenoughpumpkins · 28/10/2007 16:02

Well, gibberish funny you should ask....
That's the amazing bit-I didn't have to bribe him at all it was spontaneous! We had people coming to view the house and he just upped and cleaned the loo!

Now, have you vacuumed yet you layabout?

spookybatoscar · 28/10/2007 16:45

Great news! Bloke does yucky housework without being asked! Blinking Flip

I have spent the vast majority of the day in bed and I don't feel bad about it at all. I think I've earned it and I needed it. All I've done is make lunch

Going to have a soak in the bath now, shake the sleep out of my head and pull myself together

Oh and do a list of what needs doing for tomorrow

See you all later

spookybatoscar · 28/10/2007 16:49

Oh, Neverenough Ed is 4 1/4, looks a lot older and carries on like he's a lot older (in some respects) too. He's very hard work but lots of fun too

gibberish · 28/10/2007 16:52

Even better never lol - no effort required from you!

Yes have hoovered. And girls' rooms are all done. Infact whole house is gleaming Why does no-one ever come round when it is like this?

Good for you GO You do deserve to relax at the weekend

So dark and it's only 10 to 5...
