Does anyone else use clothes horses?

I'm trying to catch up with laundry & ratherm than use the tumble dryer all the time, I'm using clothes horses.

Just out of curiosity, who else still uses them, and, do you mind your living room/kitchen or where ever you put them smelling and looking like a chinese laundry.

DD2 (5) is sat in front of the washer waiting for the next load to finish so she can put some more on

never had a tumble dryer, so use clothes horses now it's colder outside. Are tumble driers much cop? Or washer-dryers?

Yes, of course. It lives in the airing cupboard (which is huge) and all sorts of things dry on there.
In our house it is called a lodger. A relic from my childhood when it was always hanging around, in the corner of the room getting in the way
