Morning Ladies

We ended up having a great evening. The kids had a fantastic time....cost us best part of £40 for approx and hour and a half though!
By the time we got down to the fair, they had put up several more small peoples rides, a big humungous bouncy castle, trampolenes with a harness on...so they bounce and go miles into the sky! DD1 was absolutely hysterical, it was soooo funny! They had a hook a duck....and candy floss...it was nice to see it in the village.
simply Your singer was on after the wrestling.

Well not going anywhere today, it is raining. Dh is working. We have promised one last quick trip back to the fair this evening before it leaves, as DD1 soooooo wanted another go on the trampolene, but it started to rain so we walked home.

I'm feeling quite energetic today, so I shall get my routines done and maybe some extras today.

  1. Get up, washed & dressed and same for kids
  2. Pick dirty washing up
  3. Put a wash load in

  9. Think about what's for dinner - take out meat if necessary.
  10. 5 minute room rescue/couple of hotspots

I'm going to clean all the windows today, dust upstairs and clean all the mirrors.

FunkyGlassSlipper · 29/09/2007 09:01

TheMadHouse · 29/09/2007 10:01

Morning all

Well DH is still in the FLY Hospital so no lie in for me this morning.

Luda IKWWM re fairs they can be a real rip off, espcailly if you have a few little ones. we went to the May fair in Hereford with the mini's God Parents this year and it was great as all the LO's rides are only £1.

Saying that this time next week we are off to Disneyland Paris - he he he

I am hoping to get my blasted ironing done today and I have a few errands to do, but that it it, so poss walk out puddle jumping

yaddayah · 29/09/2007 10:09

my head hurts

I think I must have been incapable of speech last night.. which is just as well

ouch ouch ouch

Jas · 29/09/2007 10:26

I can't take a day off any more ludaloo I'm too used to being busy now.

DP has gone to do the shopping, so I have cut down ad bagged up all my tomato plants and sunflowers as the recycling people will collect on Monday.

I've stripped the beds, have my second load of washing in. I need to sort out some bill paying now.

ludaloo · 29/09/2007 10:30

Hope your head gets better soon yadd harley... I might sit down later...when the windows are clean Actually, I have just been completely side tracked by the dust bin. I was emptying the bag...noticed the gook in the bottom, and decided to wash the bin inside and out and put a new liner in it....then decided the bathroom bin was just as bad so I've done that now too.

TMH £1 sounds better...each ride was at least £1.50 per child...and I have 3! The trampolene was £3.50 per child...but luckily only DD1 was interested in that!

Disney land...ooooh that sounds fab...my SIL went there this summer. Spent a fortune but had a brilliant time.

MOrning all,

I hate fairs. So expensive for what you get. Much better to have a whole day at a (appropriately aged 'theme park'/farm/whatever) IMO, still doesn't stop the DC begging to go to fair - does it?

Have done the dreaded Tesco run this morning as I didn't get my arse in gear missed my delivery slot as I was too ill to order on Sunday night. Still have spent about £50 on kids autumn clothes. I also brought some windowlene wipes and flash wipes to encourage me to S&S reliably...

My aim for this afternoon/tomorrow (depending on what DP has planned) is to go any buy myself some new trousers/jeansand bras.

As for routine...

Maintain a shiny sink --needs re-cillitbanging
Put on a bra done
Make beds --stripped needs remaking
Laundry doing
2 min hotspot
5-15min declutter
S&S
DTDs reading
DTDs recorder practice
DTDs word lists
Make sure milk cups are washed
Clear worktops
Put out recycling
Tidy DD3s toys
Clothes for tomorrow
BED

Quite a way to go but have spent all morning out so don't feel too bad.

Never mind, xmas isn't too far away..

grouchyoscar · 29/09/2007 18:12

Dh came home with a bunch of lillies for me plush he's making a special meal and a Chocolate cake from the gods. I think he'll think he's on a promise

Got up and

Looked at paperwork
Wrote letter and e-mailed same to boss
Filed paperwork
Did ironing
Tidied table

I just feel totally washed out. I've got a job to apply for by Friday

Luda just running the vac round makes you feel like you've done tons of housework doesn't it?

Well see you tomorrow ladies
