Now is the time to .... declutter!

I need to use this time wisely... help me STOP me procrastinating please!!

My flat needs decluttering, I've got loads of books, cds, dvds to be catalogued onto music magpie ... The thing is! They are all stashed away in bags in the wardrobe... (out of sight) and I live in a tiny studio flat (so don't really want them out all over the floor)

Am unable to get hold of boxes (crap excuse?) to box them up for posting.

Also, I should be using this time to sort out Mums house. She passed away last month. Lots of stuff needs to go to the tip (currently shut)

Or Charity shops (but feel they might also be overwhelmed in the current situation- once they are allowed to open again that is)

Or what can I do with all kitchen pots, pans, plates, cutlery? Just tip it?

Lots of help/advise/kick up bum needed please 😳😳😳

I've started sorting through things, and now have a few bags that will go to the charity shop/ tip/ sell online once I get the chance. They are now back in the cupboards, but at least they will be easy to sort out once we can go out more freely. Now is the perfect chance!!

Condolences about your Mum by the way. Would it be too difficult going through her stuff so soon?

The tips are closed in our area and the council has asked people not to put extra rubbish as they are trying to keep going while staff are off sick. So you might be best to wait till the lockdown is over.

I've found this ongoing thread very useful, lots of inspiration and advice on decluttering.
