Does anyone else use it? Is it actually worth having or a waste of money? We now use a biological powder to wash clothes thanks to the advice on MN Smile

I put zoflora in each wash, smells gorgeous and you hardly need to use any

I use the Tesco equivalent, it is magic at getting smells out of stuff like swim costumes or anything that has been left damp.

I am not fond of the chemical (to me) smell (the dettol one may smell different) so tend to soak items in it then wash them normally.

I only use non-bio powder and the 'pure' type of fabric softener because of allergies so might just be over-sensitive to fragrances, to be fair.

It's great for washing anything stinky and has stopped me throwing out items I otherwise would have.
I'd say it definitely worth having a bottle in but I don't think it's needed in every wash at all.
It does say to add two capfuls per wash but that wouldn't even fit in the compartment so I just use 1.

I use it if the cat pees on things I don’t want to hot wash!

Someone mentioned own brand versions of this. I’d bought one from somewhere and didn’t notice that although the price was cheaper per 100mls you actually needed to put three capfuls into the machine rather than two of the dettol version. So my bargain turned out to be the same price approximately! Just saying check the instructions before you deem something a bargain!

Like a previous poster, I've tried lots of things on stinky sports stuff and this is the only thing that works. I use it sparingly though, once a month maybe.

Seems completely unneccesary. If it smells nice perhaps it's just the perfume in it that makes your clothes smell "fresh "?

Half a cap of Zoflo also does the trick!
