I don't know what I'm doing (nothing new, there!) but I'd like to get this message to luda in the next 20 mins so I'm doing this!

From yesterday's thread:-
luda I don't know if you'll get my e-mail in time so I'll have to come on the thread early tomorrow to shout out to you. Dh will be calling past your house with 4 boxes tomorrow morning around 7.30am to 8.00am. You're never going to talk to me again when you see just how much there is for you to look through! I'm very pleased you like your hair cut. Can you e-mail me who did it for you, please? Someone in work today recommended someone in Market Street, top of town, I think. I'll take a look. I hope your friend is ok. It isn't our mutual one, is it? I'd hate for things to be getting to her, but it's a tough team to be in as I well know.

I've looked at the missions and as ususal the bathroom ones are useless. Bathroom vanity? One drawer at a time? Who is she kidding. I have nothing like that in my bathroom!
I do have huge piles of paperwork and stuff all around the computer so I will try and start on that though.

I've cleaned the kitchen, mopped the floor and made tonights tea already. I need to sort out all the small people and get to school. I have to stay all day for sports day in the morning, and "fun day" in the afternoon so won't get much done today.

Hi Jas (it was simply who started the thread etc this morning, not me) and simply

I still have this pain in my side today but it's hardly anything so I hope it won't stop me getting on today (I'll probably avoid my cycle ride though).

We have sports day this morning too but it's a bit drizzly and the ground is very wet so I'm half hoping it'll be cancelled!

Bathroom missions always annoy me too - it only takes me a short time to get the whole room done anyway.
I hope to continue my tidying in the spare room today. Although there's not much visable progress, I have cleared out some drawers and have a couple of bags of stuff for the charity shop so have made a good start.

I'll be back later x

No problem Jas. I rang luda at 7.30am so my dh turning up on her doorstep wouldn't be a complete surprise!

Sorry yadda. Can't kick you if I see you anywhere else as 1) I'm going to be in work and 2) I'm rarely to be found anywhere else on MN other than here and www's bootcamp and the occasional whinge about struggling to find an au pair. Shouldn't be telling you that, should I? That will only allow you to think you can be elsewhere and not spotted!

Hi shouldbe. I hope the pain in the side disappears or lessens today.

Drizzle has stopped here so sports day will probabaly go ahead as they're running out of days to re-arrange it to. It's a very typical example of when my anxiety will flare up and I've been feeling sick about it all week

I have some canvas kids shoes in small sizes available if anyone's interested (FFP), I'll sort them out and post the sizes once I'm home again...

Better go and get the kids out of the house now.

shouldbe I didn't manage to get onto MSN at all yesterday...sorry. Had a rather
hectic evening. The kids all needed baths, a friend stopped by, then by the time I came back down from putting the kids to bed it was fairly late, and I wanted to pluck my eyebrows (OOWWWWWW!)

My gosh I have lots to do! I can't be bothered to find my list so I'll revise it!

~Ironing/washing/packing
~Wrapping presents
~Cleaning animals out (woke up this morning to find the hamster has died I was more upset than the kids!!He had been poorly for some time)
~Getting cat litter ready
~Tidying house
~Clean car
~Um can't think what else right now

Right better get to it...

I may be interested in shoes if you have the righ sizes. I lost ds' only pair yesterday Got them back this morning luckily.

Morning yaddah and everyone else. I'm going to do 1/2 hour tidying and hoovering downstairs before I have to go back to school.

I can usually be found checking active convos, so I can follow you when you post and give you a kick yaddah

Morning SS Luda Jas Shouyldbe and Everyone

Yesterday was a surreal day. I saw my mother for the 1st time in 5 years. And I was amazed at how calmly I handled the whole thing. Quite proud of myself really.

Had loads of visitors yesterday and today will be the same. It's Ed's 4th Birthday today! I got him to school and I've got to get his pressies down and set up for when he gets home.

Meant to be sports day here today to, 4th attempt in 4 weeks We do however live in a valley and it has rained pretty heavy all night so we have to ring the school around midday to see if its still on!!

I feel like poo today, hayfever is pretty bad, my throat is still sore and baby ds has the sniffles too. He just wants talking to alll day long

anyway lots to do so here's my list:

15 mins in each room
make beds
2 loads of washing
put dishes away
put washing away
s+s in bathroom
hoover all over
polish all over
pay council tax !!
ring school see if sports day is on
(hopefully) go to sports day

also today it is 2 years to the day since me and DF met so want to do some special tea but have no idea whet, Any ideas?

Good morning girls, well my summer holidays start today as my eldest breaks up today, so I need to finish off sorting out the house.

My to do list:

Sort out the washing to be taken around to friend's house for her to do my washing, just going to get the basics done and get the rest done when the washing machine arrives.
Dry up the breakfast dishes
clean the bathrooms
tidy the conservatory and sweep the floor
water the plants
sort the socks out
sort the juice bottles
put away the tea towels
hoover the upstairs when DP gets up.

Right I had better get off this and get on with this little lot otherwise it won't get done and the eldest is home at 2pm today.

grouchy Well done on meeting your mum (I haven't spoken to my parents in 10 months ) Not sure how i'd feel on meeting up with them again and a very happy Birthday to Ed !

shouldbe deep breaths, its never as bad as you think it will be

julez hope you feel better soon .. Can you remember the 1st meal you had together .. Perhaps recreate that(mind you not sure that would be so romantic for me .. a very drunken doner kebab !)

Well, sports day has happened - I managed to go and stay for the duration We'll find out ot the end of the week which team won (no winners/loosers today, they all clock up points for their school team)

Luda I had my brows waxed again on Monday - way easier than plucking - highly recommended
Jas the shoes are all from Jojomamanbebe and are quite well worn (a little frayed/grubby perhaps...)but the soles are still in good condition~
pale blue, size 24
red, size 23
I also have a navy pair in size 24 but they are quite a bit more frayed and the soles are a little bit more worn down)
Let me know if they're suitable ( shouldbedoinghousework at hotmail . co . uk)

I'd better get on and tackle this room It's worse today but that's mostly cos it's work in progress so I have faith that I can turn it around (trying to sound positive!)

My list from yesterday fo rjobs to do in the spare room ~

~clear stuff from the bed done
~wash and re-make bedding in wm
~sort through chests of drawers (2 small sets) done, one empty and stored away
~sort through storage boxes (God knows what's in them...)
~try to look in drawers under bed (not sure they'll even open)
~work out how/where to store the increasing amounts of paperwork dh needs for work...
~hoover and dust done
~drop of any donations at the charity shop waiting till I brave looking under the bed

S l o w progress but it is looking miles better

Have to collect ds now. Dd is out at a friends for tea after school so I may see if ds would like a friend to play this afternoon.

My first batch of flapjacks last week where yummy and perfect! The ones I made today are more like rock cakes!!!! What did I do wrong!!
