Has anyone got any plans for the holiday? Or any good tips for occupying 3 small children (especially in the rain)

I have plans for crafts, baking, swimming, beach combing on a good-ish day....other than that...repeated a fair bit, I'm at a bit of a loss!

Luda Same here! No plans as such. Still hoping for a few days away but the whole bankruptcy thing has buggered up the money saved.

Its a mare isn't it, we are struggling too money wise

We will have to think of some good, cheap activities!
If the weather would just bloomin pick up we could have picnics and the likes.... There are some nice walks, and parks etc. I can only do so many craft type days, my patience expires after a while!

If I have any brainwaves I'll let you know

I'm sending the big ones to my parents for a week

I've been saving £1 in a tin for the holidays and opened it today....£178!

We will be doing all the free activities at our library, and crash course swimming lessons for the dds (8am) every day for the first week.

I've also found a church run holiday scheme for £1 a morning on the last week which I have booked.

Other than that I have arranged to meet one friend every wednesday and do something (probably various parks and Epping forest, as they are free too)

Lucky you jas . Well done for saving a good amount too. I have a saving tin for xmas. Can't wait to open it and see how much has been saved. Doubt it will be a huge amout though.

oooooh thats a good idea Jas I haven't looked in our local library.... I might go and have a butchers tomorrow.
