jas, you were out early hanging washing! I'd be interested in the grey pinafore dresses btw What age are they? DD1 has red gingham summer dresses other wise I'd be interested in them too...my kids are just growing way too quickly!

Hello to all.

Jas That's annoying. Grrrr. Even I (I don't like too much sun so this weather is ok for me) am getting fed up with the rain.

luda What a shame I did my Morrisons shop on Fri, I could have been a customer for you!

Done:-
~ put all outgrown girls clothes in one big box # dd did this for me. One very full big box!

To do:-
~ post stuff back to Boden # bag didn't arrive so leave 'til Monday
~ write several b/d cards and wrap a present # have found the cards so part way there
~ more washing to do incl some waterproof clothing that needs a wash
~ sew up waterproof coat hood where it has come apart
~ plant these blooming indoor lilies # dh said they'll keep 'til next year now
~ get ds to make a banana cake
~ far too much ironing. Will try to be ruthless and just do the must-dos # did quite a bit last night. More to do today.
~ I don't know what else. Still not showered and dressed yet. # same this morning!

tort glad yesterday was fun - computer crashed yesterday eve sorry I couldn't make it onto MSN
aufish glad yesterday went OK

I came home from work yesterday to find that dh had finally had enough of the old dishwasher and had bought a new one the dishes are sooo clean this morning
We have my PIL coming for the day today and for once I don't need to worry too much about the house cos it's all nice and tidy I also have to take dd to a party this afternoon and some gardens are open locally so we may take the in laws round them...if the rain stops that is!
It's been a good FLY week in the shouldbe house, what would I do without these threads?

Morning simply It did cross my mind that you might be shopping. It is very strange packing people's bags, lots of them just said no! (Mind you, I like to pack my bags myself too, I put the stuff in order of heaviness etc.)

Hi shouldbe You have done really well with the housework! I need to knuckle down and do some serious tidying too. New dishwasher sounds good My DD2 still has a runny bum . She doesn't seem to have shaken the bug off very well, so I have been anally Anti Baccing the kitchen and bathrooms, it makes me soooo ! I hate the thought of bugs...especially ones you can't bloomin see to kill!

Well I'd better get the kids dressed, I might take a trip into town later, see if I can find matching cardigans for the girls for this wedding we are going to.

We leave on Thursday, come back on Monday.... I'm soooo unorganised!

Luda I just need to keep up with the housework now! I'm feeling a bit more ruthless so hope to try to tackle the spare room this week (just in case we get any visitors over the summer ), it's really bad and is only going to get worse unless I do some serious work in here. Also still need to tackle the wardrobe and drawers in my room at some point soon.
Hope your dd2 gets better - is she feeling poorly too or just has the runny bum?...poor girlie
Have fun shopping for cardies I'm sure you'll be organised when the time comes

DD2 is ok in herself, just comes up and says "tummy" and points to it, so it must be uncomfortable. She was sick a couple of times too so I think she just has it in her system still.

Good luck with the spare room...I'd love a spare room, although I can garauntee it would be the room where I put things "out the way". I'm very good at putting things out the way lol....my cupboards are a nightmare all the time!

Our spare room = one big cupboard for all the junk that we don't know what to do with. The rest of the house can look nice and junk free but open the spare room door and it's all there in all it's glory

Poor dd2, hope she's soon better x

I'm not keen on very hot weather, either, but like it dry enough to dry nappies.

Going to run a cloth round the kitchen and straighten up the sofa cushions then we'll be ready for PIL to arrive. Dh has just agreed for us all to go out for lunch so that's one less thing to worry about.
Will see you later (when I slope off to escape MIL for a while!)

Hello ladies

Just swinging by to say Hello ALL I've not read the thread as I've not got my head round things really Had a family trip to Bridlington courtesy of the local Surestart yesterday and it was fan bloody tastic. Ed enjoyed himself so much and it was nice to have a change of scene. The weather was fab too.

Walked miles. Got up early to do housework I'm shattered now so I've made the bed and got back in it

Hi SS I'm OK thanks. The day away did me the power of good. I am capable of running on north sea beaches!

I overdid it last night (Too much red wine, too little food, too tired) so I felt vile this morning. Stinking hangover! Got up and did tons of housework as a penance. I even turned the mattress! DH is confining me to bed now. I want to get up but I'm being banished!

Been planning activities for th family holiday (yeah, it's September but I likle to be pepared. D'ya think a 2 hour return train journey with an hours bus ride each way will be too much for a 4 yr old?

Simply thanks for the email, I've replied already

PIL are still here but I'm expecting them to go soon because the children are exhausted and need an early night.

Have just put a load of washing in the wm but have done nothing much else FLY-wise all day!

Hi all.
Not much to add today.
Friend came round again today before he had to go home. He was here all afternoon in the end! Kids had a ball with him. Girls are completly warn out. Hopefully it won't be another 12 yrs before his next visit!

House is still fairly tidy. Will do a few basic bits once DS's are in bed.
