What fabric conditioner do you use?

I've just run out of my Comfort Frosted Pine and Apple - absolutely adored it but the fragrance was limited edition and I bought the last few that my Home Bargains hadSad

So what one do you use? Which fragrance are you in love with?

I also use yellow Lenor, Fairy Non-Bio and Comfort Pure but I like cycling them so I don't go nose blind.

Any suggestions welcome.

Please don't comment and say you don't use it/like it. It wastes both of our time.

I've just spent a week trawling round cheap shops to find the same one, OP! Our local Savers have a bottle in the window that they won't get for me because they'd have to take the display apart to get to it Sad

I found loads in a Savers in the city centre and bought a few, so maybe try a Savers?

Otherwise I just use Asda tropical washing powder and fabric softener

NabooThatsWho · 21/02/2019 13:45

My favourite used to be yellow Lenor until they changed it.

I like Fairy and blue Lenor.

I’m limited in what I can use as concentrated formulations clog up my machine.

The yellow Comfort is lovely for summer time, so fresh.

Thank you!

I didn't think of Savers, I'll pop there tomorrow! If I can stock up I'll be buying as many as I can physically carry Grin

Comfort blue or lenor blue.

Missmarplesknitting · 21/02/2019 13:47

Wilko ylang-ylang and freesia. Smells gorgeous and doesn't annoy our sensitive skins. And it's £1

LikeACowsOpinion · 21/02/2019 13:49

I'm not keen on the blue Lenor, but I'll have a sniff of the yellow Comfort.

I did think the yellow Lenor had changed, it doesn't smell anywhere near as 'warm' as it used to.

Thank you

I used to use the Comfort blue ironing water (when I used to iron HA..) and that was gorgeous, didn't know they did a softener in the same smell!

My mums washing always smelled amazing, I've been trying to replicate it but no luck Sad never got the chance to ask her before she passed.

Didn't think of Wilko either! Thank you

I've just tried Wilkinson's own conditioner. The yellow one, called Sunny Day, it's really good. Will definitely buy it again.

DaffydownClock · 21/02/2019 14:20

I like Comfort Pure or blue Comfort, I don't like Lenor.
I bought some Method pink (?Peony) this morning, just for a change.

greyspottedgoose · 21/02/2019 14:21

Comfort strawberry and lily, when you sniff the bottle it smells quite nice, on washing it's AMAZING 😍😍

BlueMerchant · 21/02/2019 14:32

There's a cheap on in home bargains called 'Easy' the gold one is lovely.

SallyWD · 21/02/2019 14:51

Ecover because I like to avoid the nasty chemicals. I only buy it when it's on offer - which is frequently

MitziK · 21/02/2019 14:56

Co-op white. It's an exact dupe of Comfort Pure for next to nothing. I would assume that their others are also identical to the rest of the Comfort range, but as I only like the smell of Pure, I wouldn't know for certain.

Only came back to it after Ecover got rid/'improved' their range to remove Amongst the Flowers, which I used for decades, right back to when I could wander down the independent health food shop and get a 5l litre bottle refilled and flog them my surplus organically and cruelty free grown courgettes/beetroot/berries from the garden to pay for it- their replacements smell revolting.

NannyMcfanny · 21/02/2019 14:58

Sainsburys do a nice rose one and it's cheap.

MrsMartinRohde · 21/02/2019 14:59

Wilko ylang-ylang and freesia.

yes, this. lovely.

if I'm really on it I get the matching ironing water too.

YogaWannabe · 21/02/2019 14:59

I’m so glad you put in that last sentence OP because I was rolling my eyes even reading your title thinking someone is going to ruin this for us all 🙄

I LOVE fabric softener for so many things, especially spraying on wrinkled clothes or bedclothes!

That one sounds amazing, I’m usually a yellow lenor lover but I’m getting sick of it so will take some suggestions from here!

Same 😂
Someone always rushes on to declare how much they hate the artificial smell of fabric conditioner and they prefer to use a capful of vinegar Shock

I love clean laundry smells, even if they are artificial!

Jellyfloodagain · 21/02/2019 15:38

I try loads of different ones and always go back to yellow lenor and blue comfort cycled so I don't go nose blind.

LikeACowsOpinion · 21/02/2019 15:52

Loads of ideas here, thank you all.

If you see some lunatic sniffing all the fabric conditioner in Sainsbury's tomorrow.. hi! Grin

I'm currently on a Morrisons one - blue orchid and oriental jasmine. Lovely.

mrsoutnumbered · 21/02/2019 16:11

I love the Ecozone ones, they smell so good! Definitely recommend them.

ReturnofSaturn · 21/02/2019 16:13

The yellow one from Lidl. Did try the blue lenor and think it's a horrid smell and gave us headaches.

UnicornMadeOfPinkGlitter · 21/02/2019 16:17

The new method ones are lovely. So glad they finally brought out something to go with the detergent.
Before then I brought ecover. It doesn’t irritate the skin of the three out of four in the house with sensitive skin

Notso · 21/02/2019 16:33

I don't like it or use it.
I love wasting time though.
