Yay! Kids in bed Supper for dh and I is ready and waiting to be cooked when he gets home (stir fry) and a jug of Pimms has been made

Aufish hello - good to see you

Luda ds seems very young for school, esp when I see others who'll be in his class who turn 5 in Sept! There's a huge difference in their abilities...I'm pretty confident ds'll be fine though, he's a happy, friendly, confident boy
Yes, cheesy pasta is just simply pasta in a quick and easy home-made cheese sauce (and a whole load of veg thrown in too) - goes down v well with the kids

SS I would never have thought of that! I'm sure someone could make use of it, but I have got a bit of a phobia about hair (well hair that isn't attached to a head that is...). Couldn't bring myself to touch it let alone bag it and take it somewhere. The thought makes my skin crawl - I know it's irrational! Mind you, it's coloured anyway so I doubt anyone would want it lol.z

Just taking a really quick break as dh and I are in the middle of ripping our kitchen out - very good exercise I can tell you! He will be putting in most of the units tomorrow whilst I am at work. What a fun way to spend an evening - actually that wasn't me being sarcastic, I am really enjoying it

shouldbe Is your ds going to the same school as your dd? My saving grace is that when my ds goes up he will actually be in the same class as my dd1. She will be in year 1 and he will be in reception, but they will be in the same class room.
He is the last one to go up from nursery out of his age group. There are three boys all going up in september who are 4 before september 1st....my ds is 4 on 15th september, so he won't go up with them, but I guess they will be there waiting for him.
He will then join them after xmas.

My dd2 then starts nursery in February!! I can't believe it!! she really does seem too small. They go to nursery at 2 and a half years, then school at 4....
Is it the same where you are?? I assumed it was a welsh thing, as reletives in england start nusery at 4 and then school at 5.

Either way it is scary isn't it! I have had to order ds's uniform already and it is very weird. I'm sure out little boys will be fine though

Hello all.
As usual my house is a tip.
I did make a yummy egg and bacon pie for tea and they all ate it! And made little cakes. DS1 doesn't like them though so i really should be making some other cake thing for his lunch box. Might whip up some plain flapjacks in a minute!!

Luda ((( huggles ))) (we call them huggles sometimes too.) Hope DC are all well soon and that you don't get it. My worst nightmare to have all ill together!

EHM ((( Huggles ))) for you too. Glad Dr said Ellie is ok. i hope hope she is well soon.

And Luda your school intake sounds confusing.
Here they can start pre-school from 2 and a half but don't have to go at all. School is Sept after 4th Birthday. So if born on/after 30th Aug then they go the following Sept. does that make sense?

DD1 had an hour at school today and loved it. She hates pre-school so i hope school will be more to her liking!

Shouldbe So glad DS enjoyed his school wisit too.
