Hi Jas have a good bike ride...no chance of anything like that here it is pi**ing it down ...must be comming on for at least 2 weeks solid of rain!??

I must do the fish tank today too (and the hamster )

I have already got a load of washing in...DD1 was sick in the night, poor little thing she seems fine this morning though, is eating crumpets and has had some blackcurrent.

Mostly washing and doing beds today. MUST do the fish and the hamster I have been putting it off for ages!

julezboo They aren't really that much hard work, its just I seem to be the only one who actually ever cleans it out! It doesn't even take that long, I just avoid it for some reason! I think I will have to designate a day each week to do all the pets....the fish, hamster and the guinea pigs.

Hello everyone I hope all is well with everyone, I haven't read through the threads but hope the FLYing has been going well

We're back from our hols - feels as though we been gone ages.... Had a good time despite the weather trying it's upmost to spoil things... We found loads to do and had some beach time too so everyone was kept happy It was lovely to have family time - esp with dd, I was suprised by how much I miss spending time with her now she's at school all the time.
Got home just before mid-night last night and have to go into work at mid-day today
Better go and get on - the kids need bathing and I need to sort a supermarket list and get the first (of many) load of washing on!

Its pouring with rain here and I am off out for a trinaing session . Never mind I will feel better when it is over I am sure. Really starting to think about packing up this weekend and have just got a list from the landlords of how tidy things must be so will fly this house and paint the bad spots before I leave!

I have got the itchiest nose EVER this morning!!! I can't stop sneezing!!!!! I've taken a hayfever tablet but it hasn't kicked in yet.

Must go and give DH a shove he asked me not to let him lie in today!!!!! I've been alling him for the last hour

In a VERY good mood today! Had our corporate day out yesterday for the company which I organised. Was terrified EVERYTHING was going to go wrong and didn't sleep for about 3 days, but it went PERFECTLY! The sun even shone despite it being forecast rain - and were even treated to the most beautiful double rainbow and seeing hot air balloons on the ride home Couldn't have gone better - MD very pleased. Huge sigh of relief all round.

Okay, got LOADS to do and am going out with our visitors this afternoon, so this is my list for today and tomorrow. Going to do as much as I can this morning before we leave then finish it off tomorrow. Have a good day everyone!

luda blimey no am moving in two weeks and havent even started on packing although as I said yesterday everything is sorted. Not moving far at all a couple of miles max. Will try to do a fair bit of it myself to save money.

Have done my rain running and am now settling down to thinking about what I have to do next which is:

Me again, been busy and haven't got round to making lists. Plus after getting up at 6:30 with DS and cleaning the bomb site that DH left in our kitchen only for him to have a go that something fell out of the fridge...I'm on strike atm

So what have I missed while fetching and carrying for that ungrateful tosspot?

I had a job interview on Wednesday. It went so well I'm convinced I missed the elephant trap IYKWIM

Oh and I need to share my smug mode moment...Bought a lined shift dress in a size 16 today, it fits perfectly, makes me look gorgeously curvy and it cost me...a quid!...I'm wearing it tonight when I go out with my mates who are saying byeeee to smoking in pubs

I didn't get the bike ride, as by the time dp was up to watch ds, it was raining too much. Then he locked me out of the house (by mistake) and it was too late to go by the time I got back in.
I've done the fish tank, but it still looks green. I'm going to have to take out the fish and empty it I think.

Whoever asked about hamsters....Easy to look after in theory. Weekly clean out. Ideally daily handling, but novelty wears off with the dc and you are left doing it all. The friendliest one I had was pre children when it got loads of attention.

Local charity shops...Get some cracking stuff...Next trousers and M&S lined wool skirts

DS does well out of them, he's kitted out for the next 18 months in Next, Gap, Cherokee and George gear and I doubt it's cost over 30 pounds.

Hello all.
Went to ds's school fair today. Spent too much on nothing! But i did get some bargain 2nd hand uniform ready for dd1 starting in Sept. Just need shoes and pe kit for her now.

Been raining almost non-stop all day here. It has been about 2 weeks of rain!

Swapped ds's contact to tonight/tomorrow so its just me and the girls tonight.

Yaddah Glad clothes arrived and he is happy with them

I miust get more listed tonight. I am aiming for £300 now!! upto £230 now i think so not that far to go. Have about a month to raise funds for the holiday.

LOl jas still onyl thinking about it and collapsed in bed this afternoon with dd who had been up till 4am on her sleepover. Spent two hours asleep. An afternoon nap is one of those luxuries I miss being on my own as sometimes with X I used to slope off for an hour whilst he was around and then he woudl have an hour.

Anyway now ahve done:

Drying one load
Library
Shopping (lovely fish shop buys as well so huge fresh prawns for lunch)
Now tidying and sorting ready for dinner

1st of the month!!! Was it really a month ago I last typed that!?

Still peeing it down here I think it is a good 3 weeks of rain now...It started raining when we bought the guinea pigs and I am pretty sure that was about 3 weeks ago.

Well as it is raining we are inside again I fear We rented "Flushed Away" yesterday so I guess we can watch that again!

I may be back in a bit with a list

I'm hoping to get to a carboot while they go to a birthday party later, so crossing my fingers for no rain.
