Jas I'd like your breakfast this morning please...have to stick with museli instead though (not that I don't like museli, but I'd rather have croissants and pain au chocolat any day!)
Luda this rain is getting me down - and our garden is starting to resemble a meadow, we need it to dry out a bit so I (or dh) can cut the grass.

Work was good yesterday, nice and busy so I didn't have time to sit and feel I'd rather still be spening time with the rest of the family. Came home, put one load of washing on then sat in front of the TV all eve Must get more organised today ready for the shock of back to school etc in the morning. Dd has a school trip tomorrow so I need to try to find some new wellies somewhere today but really don't want to have to travel far - does anyone know if Sainsbury's sell kids wellies?...Have lots of washing and putting away to do so better get on - kids are up and arguing downstairs, dh is still asleep

Afternoon all

Got our visitors coming for dinner this afternoon before they go back home - life will get back to normal again, phew! Has been loving having them but very hectic.

Had a lovely day yesterday and it didnt start raining until we were ready to come home thank goodness. Has rained ever since though - the garden is saturated

Not much to do once guests leave - still to file paperwork and do the ironing so will get those done tonight. And need to go shopping later for the week too.

Errm that should be lovely having them. duh.

Morning

DS got up at quart to seven! Note to self, farm him out overnight in future.

Got up at 7 and

Downstairs, Empty WM (which ran last night)
Sort washing out for drying
Take up 2 flights of stairs
Empty DW
Put away
Empty compost caddy (you would not believe the size of the slugs in there, and I've only been doing it for a month)
Wash caddy
Clean hob
Clean out cat litter
Wash, line and refil the trays
Sweep downstairs (Inc under furniture)
Vac the whole downstairs
Pick DS's broad beans (First big fat pods)
Shell and steam them, refresh in cold water and double pod them
Make the breakfast pancake batter
Have breakfast (DH actually up now )
Organise documentrs into new expanding storage wallet (Did my stuff, stuff re DS and the house stuff in one neat file DH can sort his own out)
Empty 2 bins from DH office
Sort into recycleables and grey bin.

Think I've earned a rest now

One load of washing done
dishes
break boxes down done
take rubbish to the tip done
ironing
Hoover done
freezer shop done
B&Q for cupboard doors ordered, coming friday
need to find some shoes for me for ascot!
DP wants some new jeans
cook roast
clean car out from trip yesterday done

We also change our TV unit, just off to pick up DS's jumperoo now

best get on with it havnt even started dinner yet!!

Hi all

Well haven't really done much FLYing today, It has whizzed by!!

I have done a couple of loads of washing, tidied round and thats about it. I have been playing with the kids mostly!
We've coloured, made scones, watched "flushed away", done DD1's homework, played Snap...they are upstairs making gawd knows what mess now!!

Well I'm half watching Diana's Concert thingy, and thinking about supper. I'll catch you all in a bit.

I've quickly read the thread, oops but by the time I began my post mind went blank Two late night & very early starts haven't helped.

I am off to hang out sheets on line as its still sunny & windy ideal! Have a great evening all.x.

Visitors gone! Life returns to normal. Have done almost everything. Had a bit of a 27 fling boogie (lol) and got rid of a load of t-shirts etc that I never wear. Tidied out my drawers - looks much better. Might actually be able to find stuff in there now! Filed all the paperwork - took about 2 minutes in total. What a chore that used to be before I sorted out the files and keep on top of it now. Going to do the ironing now whilst watching tv and then only got the clothes to look out for morning.

My new kitchen gets delivered Tuesday (yay!) so trying to keep everything as organised as I can before the real chaos starts.

Evening to anyone who is around!
Quite day here without DS's. Made biscuits with DD's and went to local football club fun day. complete waste of time! There was nearly nothing there. I assume people gave up because of the weather forecast! Actually the weather was pretty good all day.

Made cake with DS's this evening before bedtime.

Hope to take girls swimming tomorrow. Not been for a while and they really love it.

next weeks meals planned

bathroom cleaned

Just watching to end of the Diana concert then need to get clothes out for the morning - it'll be a HUGE shock to have to be out of the house by 8.20!

Having to sit here writing this while my neighbours son stands at the end of his drive snogging his girlfriend! Window looks straight out so no avoiding them! How long will it take them to say goodnight??!! Serious passions out there

I was suppose to make the sandwiches but i haven't. It doesn't take too long in the morning anyway.
