glitterfairy · 23/05/2007 07:25

Morning aufish and jelley I am getting a little sense of deja vu with Kelley these days. We were only in the bathroom the other week.

Am going to do some cleaning today as I havent been that good lately and the house is suffering. Never mind I will make up for it promise!

I am in court tomorrow and the childrens guardian came last night to speak to them so at least I tidied prior to that.

GlassSlipper · 23/05/2007 07:36

Morning all.

well behind on the bedroom zone so will make an effort to work through yesterday and today's missions later.

D/w on. Have some wet bedding to deal with and then get DDs dressed and take to preschool so back later.

GlassSlipper · 23/05/2007 08:07

OK, we're dressed and I've just put the w/m on. I know what we are having for dinner. My sink is not shiny but I'll go and finish loading the d/w with the breakast stuff and then do it.

shouldbe · 23/05/2007 08:40

Good morning
You're doing well already glassslipper about the wet bed but never mind - at least it's a good day for drying bedding
glitter hope tomorrow goes OK
I hope your dd is OK with her jabs Tort - my ds hated it last week and then kept his little bandage on till Monday - when I asked him if I could take it off he said "but I need this arm for playing with my toys" poor boy thought his arm was going to fall off! Obviously it was fine and his arm is functioning as normal which he is very pleased about!

Dh has taken dd to school and I need to take ds to pre-school in a few minutes. I'm feeling much better today (a little fragile though) so want to catch up a little around the house before the mess that comes with school holidays arrives next week.
I'll be back later with a list

yaddayah House Fairy is my new business, Ive just set up - Ive got 2 ladies wanting some part time work, along with myself, and Ive been doing some regular customers since DD was born (in a cleaning capacity only) and I want to advertise and get some more... So I am the HouseFairy

SimplySparkling · 23/05/2007 10:24

I've very quickly skimmed the thread. Not able to take it in and remember any. I've got lots and lots to do today but thought I should do a list. I can come and post properly later when I've achieved something.

Done:-
~ showered and dressed
~ d/w loaded and on
~ w/m on the 2nd load
~ the cleaner has been here for the last time so the house looks okayish atm
~ started the ironing - well underway

To do:-
~ return manky cheese to Morrisons. Have found the receipt. Now mislaid it, I think, unless it is in a pocket in my handbag!
~ e-mail a few friends
~ finish the ironing and put it all in the right rooms
~ carry on with washing and drying
~ unload d/w and put away
~ get tea sorted around 4pm
~ sort out the landing, bathroom, dining room and sitting room
~ take ds to his after school thing

Right. Am going to carry on for a bit longer. Might take a break for coffee and a bagel around 11. See you later.

grouchyoscar · 23/05/2007 10:34

Morning ALL

Not FLYing today AT ALL, but I thought I'd pop and say Hello

Tip for the day...listen to anything by The Stairs/DEdgar Jones - It's fantastic

grouchyoscar · 23/05/2007 10:35

Edgar Jones that is (damn my fat fingers)

shouldbe · 23/05/2007 11:12

Not really finding the energy to do anything much today so far
~wash bedding from my bed on line
~empty/reload dw done
~tidy upstairs half done
~hoover upstairs
~another load of washing in wm
~weeding/general gardening
~go to garden centre
~ironing (it's really piling up)
~early supper for kids
~dd to rainbows
~bed

Keep being drawn back to sit on the computer - only have an hour left with no kids so really must get on!

SimplySparkling · 23/05/2007 11:30

Hi shouldbe Just a quick post as I've had my coffee and bagel and must get back to it. Take heart that I'm having to do stuff too and I've got the extra worry of having someone (from abroad who does speak some English, apparently) here for tea and I don't know what he does or doesn't eat! Dh didn't think to find out! Swap places, just for today with me, please? [pleading face]

shouldbe · 23/05/2007 11:33

No, thanks simply, think I'm quite happy here after all
Have hung the 2nd wash on the line and finished tidying upstairs - will quickly hoover in a minute then ds and I can be in the garden this afternoon
(will put the ironing off for as long as possible)

shouldbe · 23/05/2007 11:34

Good Luck for this evening, by the way simply - what are you going to feed him?

Jas · 23/05/2007 12:08

I haven't fone much exept make the flap jack, either.

But I did get my new name

SimplySparkling · 23/05/2007 12:11

shouldbe Some friend! It would only take you about 3 hrs to drive here!

I thought chicken casserole (have taken the meat out of the freezer now so can't really change my mind unless I roast the drumsticks) and maybe a crumble or two fresh from the oven. Maybe a home cooked cake in case he doesn't like crumble and I'll need to go and get some nice cheeses for a cheese platter, I guess. Eeek! Will see what I've got, make a list and get shopping, have lunch and carry on with the tidying up. I'm going to put stuff in the living room and close the door, I think. We don't need to use that room tonight, anyway, we have other reception rooms to use.

SimplySparkling · 23/05/2007 12:12

Oh, Jas, I am pleased you got it!
