Well I'm sat down doing nothing as I've done everything on my to do list for today, though am thinking about cleaning my oven! Yes that's right, I'm thinking of cleaning the oven! I think I'm ill!

grouchy Happy Birthday !!!

Can Patch and Austin give you a big slimey kiss from me

SimplySparkling · 23/05/2007 14:19

Here very briefly before going food shopping.

yadda I hope so. I need to get something nice that I can grill quickly and put with the veg I'm doing in case he doesn't like it. Must write that on list.

grouchy Happy birthday! What a bunch of April and May borns we are. How many of us are other thans? I hope your gardening goes well and that you have a good afternoon and evening.

I've done a list and checked cupboards and fridge so I'm off to get that shopping done now. Conservatory almost ready (some clothes still on airer in there), sitting room is ok, dining room is a tip, hall needs 5 mins of grabbing and putting elsewhere, landing needs 10 mins of same. Kitchen (atm) is tidy. See you later. P.S. Why am I worried about someone who'll be going back home in a day or two and who I'll probably never see again? Oh, yes, in case he mentions "nice house on the outside but you should SEE the inside!" to someone, that's why!

grouchyoscar · 23/05/2007 15:31

Patch has put his head out to say 'Hello, Happy Birthday' and Austin rather feebly raised a horn. That was enough for me!

The train set looks fab, it has a station, docks,2 loops and a b
ranch line. I'm rather proud of that i am

Thanks for the best wishes

XX

Happy Birthday grouchy - and to you, Aufish for next week more May birthdays
Collected ds in the car and went on to the garden centre to spend my birthday vouchers very nice gift
Managed to walk (ds scootering alongside) to school to collect dd and now we're home I've put the sprinkler on the lawn and the kids are playing under it - I love days like this Hope the weather holds for 1/2 term hols next week.

Need to think about supper - something quick and easy as we need to be at Rainbows by 5, I'm thinking fish and new potatoes.....

tortoise · 23/05/2007 21:06

Hi all.
Read thread but brain has failed to remember anything.
Had a good day here. Been to mother and toddlers. Picked DS's up from school. Weeded a bit.Hung washing out. etc.

front room was tidy until all 4 were at home. Then within 10 mins there was stuff everywhere! grr!

I need to get lunches made and then have a bath.

DD's jabs went k. One has bruised.Probably from her moving when the needle went in. She was very about having them. Then at toddlers she grazed her elbow (or elbell as she calls it!).

Have a good evening.

tortoise · 23/05/2007 21:07

Happy Birthday GO.

SimplySparkling · 23/05/2007 21:59

I, too, have forgotten most of the thread tort. Poor dd having to put up with being injected. Thank goodness children only have to have them occasionally.

I'm pleased to hear that you had a good day shouldbe. I haven't forgotten that you are one of the ones on my "to e-mail" list, honestly.

Well, the evening went well. Our guest I think would have been happy with a sandwich but ate his steak and new pots and veg all up, so it must have been okay. I'm going to do the chicken casserole tomorrow now. Dd was hoping to go swimming after school but I'll need to be home to put the casserole on. Hmmm. Something is going to have to give. I hope that perhaps I can work a short day, come home, put the casserole on and then maybe still have time to go swimming. We'll see. Anyway, I'm glad the evening went so well.

I hope your birthday evening was good go.
