Hope everyone has a lovely day the sun has just come out here and after the terrible rain last night that's good.

DD's are now dressed.
Kitchen looks much better now.
I think i will leave town for a bit. I really don't feel like venturing out yet. Have to go before 12 though or chemists will be shut!

Aufish · 12/05/2007 11:02

Good morning, haven't been up long, but have done this:

Washing up and drying up
Tumble dryer loaded
W/M loaded
kids are not dressed as yet, they are enjoying a board game
Transfered an album off my phone onto my DS1's new phone.

To do

Get kids dressed
Go to the shop, need a few bits and pieces and am not going to Asda today
Tidy the front room and conservatory again!

Hope everyone is well and the kiddie winks are all doing well.

glitterfairy · 12/05/2007 11:11

THanks everyone I feel loads better after a friend came round and so did my personal trainer and we went on a really hard hill climb and run! 44 minutes later my kids were impressed to see me sprinting past the house.

I know I can overcome the court stuff which has been hanging over me again this week and my work problems. Whatever happens though I find a lot of support here.

Cake wise I am going out to buy one now but if we cant find one I am making a super dupa chocolate cake for ds as that is his favourite anyway.

glassslipper · 12/05/2007 11:15

Lazylou · 12/05/2007 13:16

Hello everyone. It feels like years since I was last here. Anyway, I have fallen behind in my routines and I'm starting from scratch agian. Have done the washing for today (but am going to carry on because the clothes situation is desperate in this house!)

I'm about to shine my sink having washed it all up and put it away. Just wondered though what cleanser should I use as I don't have any of the things listed in the baby steps!

Do you all do all of those steps or do you miss some out? Not trying to be lazy, just wondering!

Looking forward to joining you all again, although may only be at weekends as work and uni are still in full force

tortoise · 12/05/2007 13:25

Thanks yaddah I have Beechams all in one. I do feel a little better.Headache hasn't gone though.

tortoise · 12/05/2007 13:25

Hi Lazylou. I never did all the baby steps. And i use cillit bang on the sink!

yaddayah · 12/05/2007 13:27

Hi lazylou
Must admit i only very loosely follow fly, i try to keep to the zones and sometimes do the mission

Re sink .. i scrub it with soapy water most of the time/ occasionally bleach/sometimes bicarb and vinegar

whatever i've got really

Welcome back anyhoo !

Lazylou · 12/05/2007 13:33

Thanks for that! Decided that I am going to do the sink properly this time because hopefully I'll be able to stay on top of it. I've got some cilit bang lurking under the sink somewhere so off to have a look!

bewilderbeast · 12/05/2007 13:36

morning all (well afternoon really)

I have a stonking hangover so have been for a nice long walk with ds and my parents to blow the cobwebs off. Really need to start doing jobs but feel too feeble to get off the sofa - self inflicte i know.

glitterfairy · 12/05/2007 13:46

Personal trainer is great tort although not certain as to how I will employ him when I have to pay. My dad has paid for 6 months as a birthday/christmas present for a year.

Have given in and bought a spiderman and a tardis cake for ds. Am off now to organise it all although I think most of it will be done for me and I can gossip from the sidelines!

ludaloo · 12/05/2007 14:09

Hi lazylou nice to have you back.

Yet to
~Dust
~Hoover
~Put more washing away done
~Make a lasagne for supper done
lots of bits and bobs, bathroom, and loo

Not done very much more....gosh I'm usually so on top of the house. I can tidy the whole house in a few hours normally. I have built up a good routine with FLY and just keeping on top is usually not too bad.
I have found out over the last month or so just how easy it is to let it slip. If you are not in the right frame of mind, and don't tidy as you go it just all piles up!

[Oh... woe is me emoticon]ludaloo sprawls on the pouffe with back of hand on forehead

YADDA Do you have a little ditty for making people motivated????

tortoise · 12/05/2007 14:37

Oh dear luda. Sorry you atre lacking motivation.

I have made all 4 dc's beds and am now coughing like mad and chest tight again. Too much dust in beds!! DD's have put their PJs on.

Only 2 hours since i took med. Have anputher 2 to wat before next dose.

Think i will jsut have to rest for a bit.

tortoise · 12/05/2007 14:37

are*

yaddayah · 12/05/2007 15:04

Hope this helps !

I could wish for an occasional hurricane
For me, that may not be such a bad thing
I could raise the windows and open the doors
And be done with these house cleaning chores

But hurricanes don't occur where I live
So its left up to me to clean this crib
I have devised a plan to get the job done
Since I can no longer depend on anyone

My plan is as simple as it can be
One that is not very taxing on me
My walking shoes I will lace up tight
And from this nightmare I will take flight

------------

Not mine i might add but part of a poem by
Ellen Bailey (think she may possibly be a Flyer with the lacing up shoes bit!)

yaddayah · 12/05/2007 15:05

Actually reading that again, i think she's running away from the house .. so possibly not so motivating

ludaloo · 12/05/2007 15:31

LOL!!! I thought she was legging it too!(I've considered that but thought better of it!)
lol...it cheered me up anyway, thank you muchly Yadda

shouldbe · 12/05/2007 15:59

lol yadda - she's got the right idea I think

Home from work Had a really good time there - I have to say I almost always really enjoy my time away from the house at work, even the drive there in the car on my own (with my choice of music not the wretched story tapes playing) lifts my spirts!
Dh and the kids have gone out for a walk/scooter while I take the sofa covers off and wash them, (need it after a spilt coffee disaster!) they can't be tumble dried which is a shame but never mind.
No more FLYing to be done so we'll be having some family time - got Happy Feet from the library to watch
