Blomberg washing machine - anyone got one?

I'm looking for a new integrated washing machine, and it seems to be between the Blomberg LWI842 and a Bosch WIW28500.

The Blomberg is over £200 cheaper than the Bosch, with an 8kg drum, 1400 spin and a full load quick wash under 1 hr.

It also has a FIVE year parts and labour warranty, vs only two years on the Bosch.

But I've never heard of Blomberg and even Which? magazine didn't have reviews of them.

I'd be grateful if anyone has experience of a Blomberg and would please post their opinions.

They were taken over by beko, I believe they’re a German company and have been able to carry on as they were, ie owned by beko but left alone. 5 years warranty shows they must be confident in their product.

Not very helpful but I've just bought a Blomberg oven and it's brilliant.
I had never heard of them either!

Dm has a dw and rates it. Seems to be mainly distributed through Euronics stores.

I've just got an integrated Bloomberg dishwasher, mainly because of the 5 year guarantee. And much cheaper 😀

Pleased with it so far, build quality is good and it is quieter then previous Bosch.

Realised today that it is part of Beko which would have put me off if I'd realised up front but the 5 year peace of mind is a winner for me.

Beko just owns it October. It runs completely independently of them. They took it over.

Thanks Niles. I've just realised that our new Grundig tumble dryer (also 5 year guaranteee) is also owned by Beko - they are everywhere!

As the OP of this thread, I thought I'd post my thoughts about the Blomberg LWI28441 which I finally bought, in case anyone else Googles this thread.

It's an integrated machine, 1400 spin, 8kg, 1 hr quick wash, with a built-in spirit level in the soap drawer to help balance it, and the back feet are adjustable from the front. £449 and another £60 to deliver AND FIT from a Euronics shop in Cannock, including putting the cabinet door on the machine and disposal of the old machine. Search the world wide Webb to find the shop. They deliver and install nationwide.

Five year guarantee, much quieter than my old Bosch and I'm very happy so far.

The manual indeed shows that Blomberg is owned by Beko.
