rollon You sound like you have a lovely family. We going to Minorca for a week to a 'family Resort'. Although I know we are very lucky to be going on holiday. A bit of me is scared, we won't be letting Ellie out of our sight for a second. My mum said to me on Sunday that she knows I won't sleep until we get back(even though Ellie will be in the same room)
tort you will be fine you've been on a helicopter. The dc's will love the plane too. But I can totally understand why you would feel scared.

Simply the grill is fine what can you suggest?? Rollo had Spag yesterday which is why I feel a bit stuck today - thanks for the suggestion though Whatever I cook will be for me too so please don't suggest fish fingers!!

oliveBranch how about bangers & mash? ITs pretty wet & wild here today so I am thinking about doing something wintery.

yes helicopter was great! I went to the scilly isles for 3 weeks with my 1st nannying job. It was amazing but i think a lot different to flying a lot higher and faster in a plane!

oh bugger!!!! our friends bbq for tonight has been cancelled due to weather, what am i going to do for dinner now???? was gunna go shopping for veg tomo so have nothing in!!!!!

Phew - set off at noon with ds to run all our errands and (other than calling in to collect dd from school) didn't get home till almost 6.30! Everyone very tired now.

I seem to have lost my recent bout of household self-discipline and things feel like they're going to pot again. Have hardly managed to get anything done today and with DH out am at risk of spending all evening on MN.

My parents came, which is always nice, so the rest will wait til tomorrow now.

Childrens passports - you don't have to change the picture...dd2 was under two in hers, and they happily accept it is the same child now that she is 6. ds was 9 months for his, and it will last til he's 5

pulled out microwave and yuk what a difference with my own cleaning formula with thanks to another post kim and aggie formula only thing is spray bottle keeps getting jammed possibly shouldn't have used fairy as washing up liquid any suggestions.

half of my kitchen is fab. even shined my sink. what do you do with your basin?

all asleep now I can't stop lighting virtual candles for maddie my d/d same age and so upset for the poor family and poor wee girl..

Well done rollon. i didn't even read the mission. I have thought about little Maddy a lot today too. My DD's are around her age. So . I hope there is a happy ending soon.

well done rollon with the mission.I've not done the candle yet for the poor wee girl my heart aches for the parents & their relatives. Right I am going up to bed, will give Ellie a big hug before I go to sleep now even though she is sound asleep in her cot.
