Making my cleaning list. Accountability Post

So DD3 is having a party on Friday! I need to have at least the downstairs tidy. My utility room and downstairs loo have to be decluttered.

To Do
Washing
Move Christmas Decs out of downstairs shower
Dishes
DH's Dinner

That will do for starters

Decide whether to get up and go to lidl or stay in bed for another while.
Give upstairs bathroom a quick once over before going downstairs
Gather washing
Small bit ironing
Make lunch for DH

Make beds ✅ apart from mine as the cats are asleep on it and I feel mean moving them...
Take 3 year old for her swimming lesson ✅

Strip and remake the 3 girls’ beds ✅
Fold and put away clean washing ✅
Make some kebabs for a friend’s bbq in the afternoon ✅
Wrap mum’s birthday present and take it to her house ✅ wrapped and setting off to her house now.

Wow @Kim82 , you seem to get a lot done! Any tips to share?
My big aim is to save time wherever possible so my time saving achievement for today is getting my shopping delivered instead of spending an hour in the supermarket.
Oh and also trying on a pair of jeggings in the shop and immediately putting them back on the rail instead of wasting time by buying them untried and then having to return them.

I’ve no tips unfortunately @Vienna, just to keep going until all jobs are done. I do have a little competition with myself though to get as much done as I can whilst waiting for other things, e.g. whilst waiting for the kettle to boil this morning when I got up I managed to load the washer, poop scoop the litter tray and start feeding the cats. I realise that’s quite sad and dh calls me for it but it’s fun!

I only have a short list for this evening as we’ve only just got home from our friend’s bbq. I need to:

Feed the cats again
Put the washing in the dryer
Reload the washer ready to turn on in the morning
Fold and put away the clean washing
Wash dishes that can’t go in the dishwasher
Clear up the few things in the living room that have been left out.

Shouldn’t take long.

Jobs all done again. I also took the meat out of the freezer for tomorrow’s tea which I almost forgot about. Tomorrow morning’s list:

Sort litter tray

Shower 3 year old dd
Force 10 year old into shower

Fold and put away bed covers that are currently in the dryer
Go to slimming world
Could probably do with dusting the living room again

The house is looking pretty clean and tidy so I don’t think there will be much to do in the afternoon apart from a bit more washing and folding of clean, dry clothes. Easy day for me tomorrow.
