Dishwasher recommendations

Has anyone bought a dishwasher recently that they would recommend.

We are a big family so it gets a lot of use and it'll be in our family room so needs to be quiet.

Don't really care if it's a cutlery rack or basket.

Last time I was looking Bosch seemed to get a lot or recommendations. I've only ever had shit machines and had kind of assumed they are all shit but a lot of Bosch owners seemed to be saying otherwise. Is this still the case?

Even though in general they’re nowhere near the best in appliances anymore, and I’d be hard pushed to have a washing machine from them, but I have had flawless results from a Hotpoint dishwasher.

Flawless cleaning, drying, speed and spec of cycles.

Have had 4 dishwashers (3 weren’t hotpoint) and the hotpoint is by far the best. I was also gifted a Hotpoint dishwasher which I didn’t need, so this went to DM to replace her very old one, and that too is a superb machine.

e1y1 Thank you for that. That will open up the field considerably.

Does anyone have anything good to say about BEKO as the prices are very attractive?

We bought this one early December and it is FANTASTIC!
Bosch SMS25EW00G

I had a Bosch previously which was excellent and lasted 11years but this one is superb.

Has a cutlery tray, adjustable top basket, loads of space, 30 minutes quick wash - if needed - and a brilliant economy programme which you can combine with the vario speed button if preferred and this cuts the economy programme down to one hour. Drying is terrific too!

Not massively expensive! We paid £379 from AO.Com.

We also recently bought a Bosch. Relatively basic semi-integrated model with a bit of a plasticky feel but effective and has a quick wash in less than 40 minutes.
